    i remeber picking up my fiesta ST brand new out the wrapper. it is an awesome experiance. especially because i had it picked up on the 1st of march so was one of the very few 08 regs on the road. was well chuffed.

    cheers guys, ive got away with them on the vectra but that already has projector headlights so its not been an issue (plus i dont really care about the vectra, well looked after, servicing timing belts etc but i dont spend the extra love and attention my last cars have got, hence its departure in a couple months) . however i will heid your warning and just look for one with xenons which was my original plan or just buy really good uprated bulbs. thanks again.

    Joys! Back to sqaure 1 to sus what to get the better half for her birthday, then to **** me off that "wee" bit more the laptop starts ******* me about! not the time technology, not the time!

    But atleast if its on a rolling road you can check its fueling and boosting correctly, then adjust to suit. Yes, not on a rolling road tho. They go a run in the car on the road (you drive obviously) with a laptop plugged in, take the reading send it to jabba and then go another drive and adjust till perfect. G.I is the only garage i trust 100% dont take chases on remaps lol

    star are genrally done on a rolling road so your getting what you pay for, you dont want to cheap out on a remap. if you are willing to travel to kilmarnock, G.I motorsport are dealers of JABBA maps, you can get a "generic" map which wont be actually generic or a stage 2 custom to suit your current mods.

    FL VRS headlights and HID's im not upto speed on VRS headlights so what bulbs would i need? i know you dont need side lights but what indicators, main beam & high beam bulbs do i need? is the main beam H7? i have 6000k canbus HID's in my vectra and would be nice to carry them over? (mainly as the vectras canbus system is a pain in which means HID's become expensive) cheers.

    better in the flesh but race blue still hands down the best colour lol.. the black alcatara looks awesome aswell as the carbon.

    take it to trust worth garage and have them carry out a rebuild. the block & head might be reuseable. if so, uprated engine components e.g rods, valves, pistons etc. these can be picked up resonably cheap and the rebuild will be less than a new engine and the you know its reliable especially if you dont go chasing power.

    Well its hogmany, be glad to see the back of 2011. Been a hard year for myself and the good lady hopefully 2012 is an improvement.As for resolutions: get fitter & less fatter. Be less crabbit. Do a better job of keeping the mrs happy.Think that covers it.Happy new year!

    Well i drive a vectra with the lesser interior (no leather recaros, no satnav) day in day out and i want to top myself, its so bad i need aint depresants when i get out. Give me the skoda! Thats coming from a vectra owner. As a work horse the vectras good but it is soulless.

    I would agree with makefish, revo or jabba for me. I would lean jabba but only due to being able to get a custom jabba map on my door step.
