Just what I am after, but where is the car?

Ok, yes its my listing but I need to spread it about so I can raise money for charity. A mate of mine was killed on his motorbike recently and he was a supporter of MacMillan Cancer Support. I wanted to do the right thing and raise some money on his behalf. Yesterday along comes this huge Hula Hoop, so what better way than to do a charity ebay auction! I changed from 4 Eagle F1's to 4 PZero Neros and the noise from the Pirrellis is a constant droaning coming mainly from the rear, gets right on yer titz after a while! If yours only started once the tyres were changed its pretty likely its them that are making the noise.

The one Halfords sell works well and is a bit cheaper. You might have to file 2 flats on the pins so they seat a bit better.

I kept looking at my car thinking that something didnt look right. It started to look a little dated so I thought I would try and modernise it a bit. £20 of Halfords finest mix while you wait paint and this is the result. I think it looks much better, just need to get a new bumper now as this one is well battered. Next up I think I am going to matt black the wheels. They are knackered anyway and I cant really afford to have them refurb'd. Any opinions? Before After Before After Before After

At the end of my road is a 54 plate vrs estate in silver that has a for sale sign in the window. Its priced at £3995 which seems very cheap to me, although it does have 150000 miles on the clock. Looking around it, i might be an ex police car as there are no badges and there is a cage accross the back (the police have them fitted dont they?) Does this seem like a good deal or am I better off sticking with my 'low mileage' 114k battered hatch?

I have had mine for 2 years now and have done 25k miles with no issues at all. Its now on 113k, 10k of which on an IP map. Its worth nothing to anyone else, too many miles, totally trashed front bumper, baby sick in the back, but I love it and use it like it should be. It also always amazes me how much stuff you can cram in the boot too, just the other day I managed to get my whole kitchen in it to take to the dump! Oh, and its white, and it looks the t1ts.

Weird, the Syntran I put in mine cured my crunchy 1st to 2nd and sticky reverse. It did take a 1000 miles or so to work though.

I got out accelerated from the lights by a Disco 3 towing a horse box! In my defence, I was driving my Polo diesel with a massive 64 bhp....

I use Quantum Synta 10/40 semi synthetic in my 111000 mile vrs. Its a fair bit cheaper than the fully synthetic 5/40 and I have had no problems with it in 20000 miles.

the VAG 1.6 TD engines, specifically the 80bhp ones? I am looking at a Jetta TD at the weekend to use as a daily runner to work. Mileage is ok at 109k but I was just wondering if anyone knew much about them and what to look for. Any help will be erm, helpful.
