  1. I used a piggy back fuse to the rear wiper to power a USB box in the dash storage box. The camera is wired under the dash, around the screen and roof trim to my dash cam. The box also powers my Galaxy S6 which sits in a Brodit mount the centre of the dash above the central vents. There a thread on here somewhere about how to do this.
  2. I just use the paddles, but I did fit a vRs steering wheel. This is my third DSG car, not having paddles wasn't an option for me, hence the change.
  3. These have been used on several of my VAG cars, I've had them refurbed and fitted with Nexen Winguard tyres, which are very good. They were on my Scirocco with Michelin Alpins.
  4. The 16 & 17in wheels have very similar rolling radius with the standard tyres, this spare kit will be fine as its supplied on 4x4 models with 16 & 17in tyres.

    Limp mode.

The Skoda techs took 8 hours to refit the EGR due to the 4WD setup, fortunately it was covered under warranty.

Sounds like it might be EGR, it's what happened on my previous Yeti.
  7. I'll go back over the logs from my last Yeti and check what the settings were.
  8. The EGR failed on my 2010 Yeti when it was 3 years old, the Skoda tech said they had seen a number on the 2.0 CR Diesel engines around 3-4 years old. I found out afterwards I could code the EGR out of the system by setting the level to 0%, this would effectively ignore the EGR in the ecu, which is not a bad thing.
  9. Mileage is between mid 40s to low 50s depending on route.Paddles get used on spirited cross country drives (I live in deepest Suffolk) so quite regularly, and on motorways when I need to pass quickly.
  10. I've got the brake upgrade, remap and flappy paddle mfsw, but I've never felt the need for further sound proofing.
  11. £185 for the first service on mine from Robinsons in Norwich.
  12. I used Pagid discs and pads when I upraded a few weeks ago,the pads are pretty good. I've used them on most of my VAG cars in the past.

    140 or 170

I agree, if there is the car with higher output available its a better choice, but I'd still have remapped the 170.I went with the previous model 140 DSG and remapped it as there wasn't a DSG 170 available. Now it has the 312mm brakes it feels fully sorted.
