  1. can anyone confirm which colour that is?
  2. I had a drive in a 150 dsg diesel during the week. Was a style which equates to sel in UK. 19 inch wheels which didn't seem to affect the ride, although I am in Germany. My impression was of a smooth quiet car and I am interested in getting one now. However as I currently have a O3 vrs, maybe the 190 would be more fun! I also sat in another one which had the alcantara seats, these would be my choice instead of leather in the sel. In Germany they are part of a 1400 euro option pack, looks like skoda UK are not offering these on the high spec models, which I think is a pity.
  3. Theres loads of guys getting them here in Germany, I actually went with the intention of buying however i didn't enjoy squeezing it through the narrower streets and it is obviously not very chuckable around the bends!! lol But has anyone got any decent pictures of jungle green on a superb yet? I also quite like the silver though.
  4. Hi Gizmo! I can swap my octavia in Nov and was looking at my options, I popped into the local skoda dealer after a 3 hour test drive of a range rover sport, which didn't quite hit the spot for me. Sat in a superb, found it really nice, and getting a test drive of a 150 diesel tomorrow. If that goes well, then I may be ordering soon, which means in Nov I might need your VCDS expertise for the fog light (for BFG!)
  5. Hi, thinking that I like the look of these and would like opinions on interior? Brown or beige with jungle green. I sat in a german spec SEL today and it was very nice.
  6. The Blues Brothers...I cannot believe that has not been mentioned yet!
  7. faarn, I know that sick feeling when you haven't got it sorted. I was seriously thinking about driving back to UK and use one of the lads on here to help me!
  8. Have you checked out the yeti forum to see if there's a thread titled "I smoked a vrs"...lol
  9. just PM'd faarn. Another update from my original reply which I should have added at the time. Gutersloh were not willing to do it as it's a MY15 and according to them it couldn't be done... so on the way home from there I popped into Thiel in Bad Driburg (15km) from paderborn. They were willing to have a play, so got it booked in and it took about 30 minutes with me next to them using Andyvee's thread. There were a few funnies, involving both fogs coming on and staying on even with ignition off and then the same with the lhs fog. However they eventually got it! I was very happy paying 25 euro.
  10. If it wasn't for the co2 emissions targets that the eu are forcing on the manufacturers, what engines would we be using and what mpg would we be getting? I suggest that without the dpf, egr etc, we would have more reliable and better performing engines.
  11. Both yesterday and today I had the fans on/high idle when I arrived at work after a 20 mile commute, I assume its because of the low temps here at the moment, but when i drove the car about an hour later the idling speed was fine again. My car has done 3000 miles now, and I reckon I have noticed the regen happening more often recently
