  9. Vredsteins Snowtrac 3...... fantastic tyres
  10. Totally agree with you KayakJim, these tyres are fantastic. I'd recommend them to all We've had 8-9" of snow and temperatues of -14 degrees around Manchester and these tyres have done me proud. Top tyres Jon
  11. Looking good the Rosso Red is a very nice colour, welcome to the Scout Clan
  12. Mine appeared with them ( not that i'm complaining ) I didn't spec them and the dealer didn't have a clue either way Cheers Jon
  13. I have to say that I've been amazed with mine over the last couple of days, car feels so planted and stable. Transfer of power is seamless and as some have mentioned a visual indicator would be useful. I had to find a QUIET local car park to test the snowtrac3 tyres... only under spirited acceleration could you feel the power being transfered around...brilliant Jon
  14. there is a judder when the ABS kicks in, that sounds normal the burning smell is a not right, did you get the smell every time the ABS cut in?
  15. Have to say that over the last couple of days the ol' snowtrac3s have performed magnificantly on the scout. its felt sooo stable and only felt the traction moving around under spirited acceleration (playing on a carpark ). Braking was responsive as well, with ABS kicking in twice. so pleased i took the plunge and went for them, well worth the money (imho) Jon
  16. you can pretty much guarantee Cheshire won't get much snow....now that i've got a Scout here's hoping...
  17. Thanks Stuart, if you have trouble send me a PM and i'll fire over my email address
  18. I'll find out over the weekend..... i remember a thread about it as well, but after a quick search i couldn't find it off topic - could you possibly send/post a couple of pictures of your towbar, i'm interested to see how looks against the scout bumper...thanks Stuart Jon
  19. I've got the Snowtrac 3s and they are very good, not sure if they are available for 18" rims :S cheers Jon
