Need to change my suspension bushes on my mk3.5 Octavia as they're creaking over speed bumps and on certain roads, I upgraded them to rs3 bushes on my Superb and had the part number, I seem to have deleted the part number from my phone during a clear out so was wondering if anyone had the part number and could give me it? I've searched the forum but too many results to sit and go through and I've googled to no avail. Cheers folks

Yeah that's a good suggestion but I'm that forgetful I'd keep jumping out and long pressing the button lol. Major creature of habit!

Getting annoyed with having to long press my remote to fold my mirrors in, is there a way to change it to single press? It's not available to be done via the ecu but surely there must be some method of changing it?

I change my oil and filter every 10k miles, I do over 40k a year in mine. -
Door puddle lights and led number plate bulbs

I've got gel number plates and they look good under the led lights lol, that's my reason for wanting them my headlights are xenons so don't need to upgrade them -

My full light fell out and lense and body are both smashed to bits lol. Don't know anyone who could code the led bulbs in unfortunately -

Has anyone else had the door puddle lights fall out and get smashed? I'm now missing 2 on my drivers side as they both fell out and got smashed by the door being closed as I didn't realise mine had fallen out and the passenger didn't realise the one on the back door had fallen out! Very nearly lost my passengers side rear one but thankfully the passenger realised and I go out to clip it back in! Can't find any to replace them so think it's gonna be a trip to Skoda for them, they aren't held in by much either so think the replacements will get glued in. Next thing is anyone running led number plate bulbs? I've been told by the place I'd normally buy my led bulbs from that they categorically do not work in the superb and the can bus system shuts them down and tells me I have a bulb out. If you're running them with no issues what bulbs are you using? -
Yeah like that except mines are side by side just now but when I put a full size rear plate back in I'll be stick padding it to the bumper

My car is used as a taxi so I have a square registration plate and my taxi plate next to it which is also square.

Had the Superb now for 9 months and covered 32k at the time I write this, cars had its dsg service done at 39.5k. So far it's cost me nothing but consumables and servicing. MPG seems to be low around town mind you and I find it a tad creepier than I was expecting. It achieves 34mpg regardless how careful I am around town, it was the same before changing to 225 45 18 tyres so I don't think it's to do with them. The car has had its emissions update sadly so I'm blaming that as talking to other owners and other drivers with the same car they're all getting 40+! Other than that it's been a fantastic car and all my passengers love it, I love it as it's nice to drive and comfortable as well at almost 60k. Only faults I have is the battery is on its way out and I still have a key issue to resolve which is looking like I may have to replace the remote. The dsg holding gears and stuff has sorted itself since the oil change and my driving style, I forced the changes with moving it to manual mode and not letting the box drop it back down so it seems to have helped resolve that issue. It used to struggle to go over 90mph as well but that's resolved the more I've driven it so I can only assume it's been choked with the previous owner maybe not driving it hard and in his 2 and a half years of ownership he'd only covered 27,600 miles which I've surpassed in 9 months lol. Anyway that's my update, I'm going on the hunt for Mlada Boleslav plate holders shortly if anyone can point me where I could get them as I'm gonna put my private plate on and change my plate layout at the rear from a square plate to my taxi plate sticky padded to the bumper and a normal size rear as my private plate won't work on a square plate. Thanks for reading folks!

I don't have keyless lol
-
I meant to say it doesn't do it all the time either, it'll work as it did for several hours last night after not working for a few hours. Worked fine when I left this afternoon and then didn't work when I was leaving my mates
-
Hmmm think I'll just start using my spare key lol
-
My superb has started displaying this and not starting the car, I'm assuming the key battery but the key opens and locks the car from a considerable distance. It works perfectly fine with my spare key and I had to run home earlier to collect my spare. Thankfully I was at my mates and could borrow his van. Any ideas? I'm gonna change the battery anyway but if anyone else has any ideas.

Does anyone on here own my old Octavia with the reg in the title? Traded into Arnold Clark motorstore in York. Just wanting to know if it made it here and if Arnold Clark declared it had previously been used as a private hire car hence the higher than average mileage.
