If this is what 15mm lowered looks like
Fat Monkey replied to nickcoll's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk II (2007-2014)
Guys, I tried to order the 15mm lowered 'sports suspension' on my Fabia 3 Estate and its a no go, so I'll just have to take sea sickness tablets before throwing it around too much ! -
Fabia Estate & Lowered Suspension
Fat Monkey replied to pete-d's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk II (2007-2014)
Pete, I had the same problem as I wanted the sports suspension option on my Fabia 3 1.9TDi estate as the car I test drove felt softer than my previous Elegance estate and had the phone call of doom ! I can't understand why the don't give the option of uprated springs as the body roll is the only fault I have found with my new car. -
After 105,000 miles in my previous 1.9TDi Fabia Elegance Estate, it was a no brainer (helped by those awefully good people at DM Keiths Leeds). I tested a Honda Insight and found its total lack of acceleration dangerous and opted quickly for a Fabia 3 1.9TDi Estate having decided that the previous model was so good, practical and reliable. We carry camping kit, bikes and a tandem on the roof so like the last one it will be worked hard.

Gents / Ladies, I have just taken delivery of my new Fabia 3 (1.9TDi Estate (Brunello Rosso) and need to fit a phone car kit and Tom Tom. On my previous Fabia Elegance the glovebox came out easily allowing access to the loom to spur off power for any auxhiliaries. However despite having removed the top glove box I cannot easily see how to get behind the radio to get at the harness. Has anybody had any joy and could give me some useful pointers as the glove box light cable looks way too puny ! Many Thanks Andy
