  1. it wouldnt do any harm to clay the car, you,ll be suprised how much you get off. foam, wash, clay, polish, seal then wax
  2. the old bridgestones on the back of mine were doing the same thing so i change all 4 for Falken FK 452's they are so much better in all respects, noise, grip etc, have a look at Camskills for good prices
  3. i,ve just renewed and went with the RAC, i was with More Than before but they wont insure cars with remaps and anyway the RAC were £56 cheaper.
  4. they should give book price, i looked in to trading my car in a few weeks ago but they took the pee and offered bottom book price. you should be able to sell your car privately with the good spec you have or try another skoda dealer.
  5. go for the Falkens again it,s a no brainer with the mileage you got out of them,, great tyres and great mileage for the money,, i use them and cant fault them..
  6. i,m thnking of getting a NEW fab 1.9tdi sport what i want to know is what size wheels & tyres will fit , i,m wanting 18" wheels but what size tyres do i need ???
  7. i dont think skoda do 19" wheels. i know you can get audi rep wheels off Wheelbase eg RS4,s etc in 19"
  8. now that colour i like , i presume they were done by a pro company.
  9. i,m toying with idea of repainting my 17" wheels, i can decide what colour to go with ( gunmetal or black ) some pics of silver vRS with these colours would help
  10. the skoda green is a hallmark of there rally days, the colour was dropped by the vag group to make things easyer as the golf has red paint. ( i have a 56 plate with green calipers and i think all skoda RS cars should have green calipers this is what Victor would have wanted )
  11. hello m8 and welcome to forum, the vRS can be made into a quicker fast reliable car( remaps etc ) i have owned three since 2004, and cant fault them, i have converted 2 people to the Skoda brand and they have never looked back. servicing is cheap compared to other VAG cars and reliabilty is spot on, theres not much to worry about buying a used car aslong as its got FSH and has been looked after.if you look in the For Sale section you will find my car at present up for sale and others aswell, i,m not just trying to plug the sale of my car but its a good place to buy a well looked after Skoda.
  12. if they are stone chips you are touching in, slightly over fill ( build the coats up dont try to fill in one go ) then wet sand and machine polish
  13. hi guys could someone take over sorting out his meet, i might not have a car by the end of feb, but will still attend all be it in my work van. ps: the Black Horse pub at Castle Rising has good reviews for its food. thanks mark
  14. i think we should make it the 28th then,, anyone got a suggestion as to where to meet and eat ?
