So over last weekend i drove to Wolfsburg for my mates stag do. we managed the whole 590 miles there and about 550 miles back with a single incident. 5min before calais one of the other guys in the back decides to let me know that he has dropped his ciggarette and burnt a small hole in my seat. the ciggarette managed to burn a small hole in the white alcantara front on the rear bench seat ( drivers side ) so on the 60% split of the rear bench. ive contacted skoda for a price on a new rear cover for the bench seat and they want £475 + vat :S does any one on here know of any good trimmers that would be able to replace just the bit of white alcantara or is anyone breaking a mk2 facelift octavia vrs that would be willing to sell me the bench seat?? many thanks.

So after owning 3 mk1 Octy vRS's i decided it was about time to get a new car, so what better than a mk2 octavia face lift, (2010) its in race blue 2.0 tdi 170PD. i actually love it!! cant understand why i didnt do it sooner. couple of questions i want to know if you could all help. ive seen a couple of people mention an injector recall on the 170pd engines? would a 2010 reg one come under this and what are the tell tale signs to see if its been done already? also it has the touch screen radio in it..... but no sat nav :( what do i need to do to get sat nav on it and the phone button working? all the phone button does at the moment is mute it? is there also a function to get the DRL lights to come on when i unlock the car? and the next issue/confusion................. the headlights have side lighs........but they dont come on. when the lights are off the DRL lights are on and bright. when i turn the lights on the DRL's just dim but the side light bulbs still dont illuminate? is this normal? Many Thanks

I use to own this plate on 2 of my mk1 octys, i sold the plate along with my last Black octy to a chap in chelmsford thinking i wouldnt be getting another octavia............................ i know have another octavia and really want my number plate back, i need to find the guy as ive lost his details and ask if he still has the car/plate,

im interested in the wheels if you were to split them,

I should be driving up to norfolk on thursday evening/friday morning. ill be finding out later for definate if i am coming up your way, if i am then i will have this from you

I know htis post was 2 years ago but has anyone found the solution, mine has just started with all these symptoms, im gunna clean the throttle body and maf sensor, where is the idle control valve located? my 2002 octavia vrs has just ticked over to 119000 miles so im looking at replacing things now rather than just cleaning them, cheers,

hi there people, im looking to install to front bucket seats in my 2002 octavia vrs, does anyone know of anywhere cold get the sub frames that slide straight on to the original runners or is it easier to do a custom job or *universal* brackets? or if anyone has bucket seats in there octy any advice?? cheers
