Thanks all for replying. Meanwhile I've got info telling me that those issues occured only with the Yetis build between 2009 and 2013/2014. So that's to me good news. Hi everybody, This is my first post on this forum, but have been lurking for several years. Great forum with lots of info. I'm looking for some info about the Yeti (2017 FL Drive 1.4TSI 92KW/125PK), which I'm about to buy. After reading about problems with 1.4 TSI engines and also about rust problems with the Yety I wonder if I should buy this car. TSI engine problems The problems with the TSI engine's seem to be related to those manufactured before 2014. Are they all fixed or are there still issues? Rust The rust occurs at the doors (see yetiforum.de) I do hope someone can shed a light on these matters. Thanks, SkodyDriver
