  1. i had a 17705 code and it dident bring up any dash lights. my car did act poorly till i used my 20 pound code reader from ebay on it and it erased it fine. Its a u280 really good bit of kit these cars always register codes and dont always bring up warning lights its always good to do a sweep once a year at service time for codes
  2. You can go to any volkswagen/audi/seat/skoda dealership and get these parts. go to the parts desk and ask, they will have most if not all your items you require on the shelf to take away there and then. i know you will have to buy a complete set of floor mats as they wont set them separately. if they need to order any parts in for you they get them in the next day there very good. Hope this helps you
  3. I did this on my cupra R last year it does make a noticeable difference i think. I got mine from a scrapped audi TT payed 15 quid for both liners. cut them out and glued and riveted thm into my liners took no time at all. A worthy mod i think
  4. Got this set up on my cupra r all in they were 90 odd quid from the dealers Well worth the money. I did try the conversion kit the dealers sell but they just dident look right, part number was 1J2988002
  5. You need 18" wheels for the LCR brembo setup 17's will be too small
  6. I was changing the brake fluid in my cupra r this weekend and both my rear bleed nipples were stiff but they loosened off a bit by opening and closing a few times. I think that they are all stiff you dident have a problem there. If it were me i would get a new caliper wouldnt mess about with re-tapping. Dont think there was a problem in the first place. :( You dident really need to open the bleed nipple to push the caliper back anyway just open the reservoir up and wind the piston back slowly.
  7. I wouldn't buy it way too modded for my liking. Also it might of had a hard 112000 miles but the thing that i didn't like on this is where the intake is!! the cone is near the floor!!! due to the weather we have in the uk flooding etc its going to suck up water. but you could change it easily if you wanted.
  8. Have you checked the power steering fluid level?? probably very low i would say?
  9. The dealer will be able to supply one of these definately!!!! probably got it on the shelf as its a service item and there probably breaking/losing them all the time. would be very inexpensive too. if you have a part number even better
  10. Common issue with all vag cars i had it on my cupra r its your ancillary carrier seal behind the door card you have to re-seal it with silicone sealant as the seal has broken down. Just undo the row of bolts around the carrier apart from the top ones pull the carrier away slightly de grease surface and run a line of sealant underneith and bolt carrier back down while its still wet and wipe away excess. You can get the sealant from b&q i used the clear stuff it looks better.
  11. Got both on my cupra r the bottom one comes on these as standard but i fitted the s3 upper brace and i would say that its made a difference i can now do corners a little faster. I drilled the strut tops and bolted it in with stainless bolts and nyloc nuts. very easy to fit do it in about half an hour.
  12. I would say that your washer tank has cracked due to the extreme temparatures weve had. did you fill it up recently with only water?? or not much screenash to water?? you will need a new bottle if so. I dont think there very expensive from the dealers.
  13. I wouldn't recommend ebay as there rubbish cheap crap! main dealers are the best place unfortunatly!!
  14. Worth every penny imo. i have a forge in my cupra r much better response.
  15. Get one mate!! they look brilliant!! i would say that it was a fair price for that personnaly!!
