I've seen that, it's epic. That comment above about the handling, is my main concern. Surely decent coilovers and ARBs could provide something very similar to the Scooby? Or do I have to accept that it just wouldn't ever happen?

Well I have a 45mile round trip on the motorway per day but also live near the penines and not that far from North Yorks if I'm so inclined so I want something involving to drive. With a haldex controller I'd probably run the car 70/30 rwd biased. I currently drive an E36 328i Sport.

As above. I'm new to this site, but I've just almost decided I'm going to buy an Impreza but have just had a brainwave regarding a Skoda. To be honest I just wanted to find out if it was a good idea and how capable a car could be built with a remap, exhaust and coilovers, plus brakes and interior to be upgraded also...
