  7. @bigjohn - maybe so. But if you don't have it in reverse, pdc module should not engage; if the live wire is connected properly to the reverse light.
  8. Basically, they should be the same - but you should check the light cluster before purchasing - the shape is the same. If the cluster is the same- then the wiring loom should be the same. (but i am not 100% on this)
  9. Dear MilanM, aftermarket parking sensors - it depends of the brand and how it is connected. In regards to connection; it should not beep when moving forward, couse the live wire should be connected to reverse light - only in case if the connection is poor.
  10. hi jimbof with fact "No fault codes in VCDS " i would say firstly EGR malfunction and secondly something to do with gearbox/transmission just a guess
  11. generally not on the driver side, but on the passenger rear footweel
  12. in front under seat and in the back - same bundle of wires you have a good topic in sticky
  13. hazard lights should light when lock or unlock you can check the wiring again (yes, more or less there are wires to check on the passenger side as well as under rear footwhell ) but regarding when opening the door, it depends - if only one door does not trigger lights or all if all then you will need to check the wiring again - else; you will need to strip a door card
  14. Hi and welcome - Lights shouldn't flash - only hazard flashes (maybe is not connected correctly when redoing the wires after water ingress) - Should be a faulty micro switch in the lock or bad solder joins in the lock - Parking sensors : check this one
  15. thanks for now - i will get back to you in a short while br
  16. Ej Nackuk, after the rear disk and pads change i have a Soft pedal syndrome (goes all the way if pressed hard when car is running) although braking well for now. There is a gurgling sound coming from the dash (mostly when raved or after applying the brakes (this has been doing even before the change) Do you believe this is the case of master cylinder or more of a box with leaking diaphragm in it? Maybe just to bleed the brakes would help? thanks for your opinion
  17. Have you checked this one in full?
  18. i had the same VCDS codes but before i got completely locked out, i have taken the panels off - on the drivers side there were cracked solder joints (that is why there was no open door indicator light) just re-soldered and everything is restored as well you need to connect the door motor to 12V a give it a good run and put some compressor air through it that fixed my locks.
  19. all good there was a separate wire for fog lamp silly me... thanks anyway
  20. i don't have an alarm, but please check topic: 'Water Ingress Problem'........SOLVED! it can be due to wiring. Firstly, you can check the battery in your key BR
  21. Hi all, i have just fitted a cheap towbar (auto hak) with universal wiring i encountered a small problem - can't figure it out how to connect fog lamp wiring from towbar to light cluster - i have fog lamp in same bulb as rear lights so question is, is it ok to connect it on lights? or somehow else. I do have some bypass relay (box) included. as well there is a fuse on 12V Thanks
