Pipes are about £30 each, easy as anything to fit. Pop the retaining clip off, change the pipe and pop the clip back on.

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but if the oil pressure switch was faulty then when you put the key in the ignition and turned it to stage 3 then the light wouldn't illuminate at all? The beeping and light coming on suggests a bigger problem where the oil pressure is too high so potentially early signs of head gasket failure or something else.

Can't believe my insurance renewal!
Mr_Franchetti replied to Big Mikey's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
My renewal was in March. I was with Bell last year and my quote went up from 800 to 1050 at 21 with 4 years no claims and a clean licence. Shopped around and got it for under 500 with Aviva. Can't imagine how at my age i managed to get it cheaper than some of you lot so definitely worth shopping around, got to offer something cheaper. -
How to do wide mouth bumper mod
Mr_Franchetti replied to Si Vxr's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
Looks good. A couple of points to add. Those 3 black clip things on the bottom, if you push the centre out with a small screwdriver or similar then they just pop out by levering. I used a stanley knife to cut away the part of the bumper I didn't need and it did the trick, just make sure it's a new blade and a decent quality knife otherwise you'll knacker your hand by the end of it. With the number plate I've got pressed plates from Dubmeister. To fit I got some custom surrounds made up (although any of the usual style ones you can buy will do) and cable tied it onto the top of the grille before sticking the number plate on with pads. Now all I need is a nice big FMIC to sit behind it, looks like you need the same! -
Had a search and couldn't find anything so sorry if this has already been covered. Trying to fit a Milltek downpipe and decat to the standard backbox. Anyone know the size of the standard piping on the backbox? ID or OD, doesn't really matter, just need to get a reducer so I can fit it. Cheers.
