Suspension upgrades - Ibiza Cupra shocks and springs?

I think cupra r shocks from a diesel would be better because they are stiffer no? -
I have a VRS with a RARB and I was thinking I want to lower and increase the steering responsiveness a bit I do not want to change the wheels. I was thinking of- a) get some 30mm lowering springs - if anyone has any please do offer putting Cupra R shocks and spring on because I am impressed with my mates Ibiza FR c) get some Koni FSD's or alike with springs - again let me know Is the Ibiza idea crazy, because they do run lower, I thought it might be quite a good stock mod?
