  1. Good suggestions, but I’m not keen on the Superb and the Arteon is very rare.
  2. Thanks for taking the time to post @OccyVRS. Your description of the 330’s quality and comfort may nudge me in favour of the BMW instead. I think I need to test drive them both to work out what suits me best.
  3. Thanks @OccyVRS , it was the 330i I was considering.
  4. Thanks @darrenw , just the kind of info I am after.
  5. Hi everyone, I’m thinking of changing my mk3.5 vRS after nearly 4 years of happy ownership. The only gripe I have is with the noisy cabin, especially that echoey, hollow sound at speed. I’m looking for a bit more refinement and am considering a G20 BMW 3 series, however I’m reluctant to jump ship from Skoda and also considering a mk4.5 vRS. Has anyone driven both variants? If so, is the new model noticeably quieter than the mk3.5? Look forward to reading your experiences and opinions.
  6. Thanks @CookieMonster87 OEM+ is a great description of what I am after. Thanks for the link.
  7. It’s a 2019 GPF. Thanks for your recommendation.
  8. Evening ladies & gents. I’ve owned a vRS 245 for nearly 2 years. Love the car and it will be a keeper for the foreseeable. A small area of disappointment has been the sound it makes. The artificial engine noise is awful and I always have it turned off, but the natural engine sound is quite flat. A chap up the road has a Golf GTI Performance 245 and that sounds lovely when he starts up and drives off. My question is, can I recreate that in my car? Would a GTI rear exhaust section fit the vRS and produce the same sound or is there an aftermarket exhaust that would give a bit more of a sporty sound without any boom or NVH like the Golf owner enjoys as standard?
