  1. I have a silver one, and the main reason I bought it in that colour was seeing it in the show room it stood out from the crowd. To be honest if I had looked into it more I would probabley bought the Eleganze as it was a better speck for about the same price. I love the car and the space in the boot is exceptional, best of luck in your purchase. Bob Cameron
  2. If you go onto www.roofbox.co.uk you will get all the info you need. This is one of the best places to buy bike carriers in the u.k. and it is also the cheapest and they do not sell junk, good luck in your search.
  3. Turns out it was the pump that had cracked, and that is what I commented to my wife when I came back from dealer, will have to make sure I use a stronger solution of screen wash next winter. Still love the car car and the 1.4 Tdi engine is unbelievable. Bob The Bankie.
  4. I have a Fabia Scout at the moment with the same wheels and I agree the wheels are great!!!!! But the profile of the wheel sits slightly proud of the tyre, ask my wife she will tell you how easy it is to kerb them (OUCH !!!!) Bob The Bankie
  5. Has anybody had any problems with the screen was on the Fabia, I have a Fabia Scout and the screen wash is coming out of the of the bottom as soon as I put it in. When I i tried to use the rear wash it came out onto the windscreen, was just wondering if anyone has had this problem. It is going in tomorrow for the Dealer to have a look. Bob The Bankie
  6. The method you are using must be copying the albums in W.M. Fomat (Windows Media) as using MP3 format you will only get about 6 or 7 albums on a CD-R Disc. Windows media tunes take up a lot less space. BoB C.
  7. I would agree with trying, www.roofbox.co.uk I bought Roofbars etc. for my last three cars from them, and they are by far the cheapest place to buy from. The last ones I bought for the Fabia Scout Estate were made by "ATERA" and I believe they supply some of the large manufacturers. Had a look for my invoice could not find it, but went onto the web site and they cost me £65. They also won an Auto Express best buy award in a test they did on Roofbars.
  8. Hope you enjoy your Fabia Scout, had mine for about 10 weeks now and have enjoyed every minute of it. This has been my first Skoda and so far I am delighted with it. One thing I love in a car is a bit of individuality and so far I have never seen another Fabia Scout , I just love the 1,4TDi engine it is unbelievable how much power you have for such a small engine. All the best for 2010 and once again enjoy your Scout.
  9. A spare wheel on a new Fabia is not pot luck, if you ask for one when you order the car you will get it, if not you get a repair kit. (You don't get one for nothing it come's at a cost)
  10. Would not advise the Armrest as I find it just gets in the way more often than not. Ihave done about 1200 Miles in my Fabia Scout and I think the armrest has only been down for about 100 of these miles. It is nice to use on a long Motor Way journey but that is the only time I would consider using it.

  12. As the owner of a 2 month old Fabia Scout Estate, that was the one thing that surprised me was that there was no temperature gauge, I realise it is all controlled by computer but it would be nice to be able to keep an eye on the temperature rather than suddenly getting a warning buzzer from the dash. Great car all the same and the space in the boot is great for such a small car. I have the 1.4TDi engine and it is unbelievable how much power there is, this being my fifth diesel I would say the best engine yet.The engine is a bit noisey at tick over but is that not part of the fun in owning a diesel. Seasons Greeting To Everyone.
  13. Everybody is entitled to an opinion, and in my opinion it is very difficult to change gear entering and leaving Roundabouts. (Just not something i would recomend)
  14. I have the same problem on my Fabia Scout, had it back at the Dealer and they tried for 2 hours to get water to come into the car but could not manage. After discussing it with the service manager, we decided to keep an eye on it as we reckon as stated elsewhere in this thread it is most likely to be water that gets in between the two seals when you open the door and it runs off the roof, poor design I would say.!!!!!!!!!!!! :S
