  1. Well the rear wiper and wash both work, and nothing is obviously amiss with the earth connection you mentioned. MOT and service are booked for a couple of weeks from now so will get them to check it out. Thanks for the pointers
  2. That is what I mean, yes. The rear wiper works but haven't tried the washer. Off I go to have a look. Cheers.
  3. Thanks for the reply - when I disconnected it it seemed completely dry but will make an effort to check again!
  4. Hiya, My left rear Indicator is solid when the brakes are applied. Have disconnected the light cluster and reconnected it which made it work correctly again, but then after it was left overnight the same problem reoccurs. There are no warnings or errors on the dash. Any pointers on what to do/check? Or is it a case of taking to a garage...
  5. Sure, will do! Anyone know roughly how much should I expect to pay for each of these items if any of them are applicable? Thanks for the help so far btw
  6. Finally (!) checked the fluid today. It was a bit low so got some fluid from dealer and have topped up but the squeal is still there. A garage has already looked at the brakes and they are fine. I don't want this to cost a lot, and it is an intermittent sound anyway so I might just put up with it. Until it goes proper wrong!
  7. That bblqp & Glenn - Didn't need to try your suggestions though as I took it into my workplace and someone there undid it by hand... And confirmed I need to add some fluid so off to pick some up today.
  8. A bit off-tangent but I'm trying to undo the power steering fluid cap and it won't budge - I'm a weakling and i've had stronger people try and no luck. Any ideas on how to undo it? Have tried hot rag to expand it and make it easier to remove - no luck though. Many thanks for any suggestions
  9. Thanks for your replies, Will have a ponder and sort something out. Cheers, Adam
  10. Hi, I've got a squeal coming from the front off-side when turning right. Anything more than a quarter-turn of the steering wheel will produce it and it happens at all speeds. It is repetitive, but not with each revolution of the wheels so don't think it is linked to them, although I could be wrong. To me it sounds like a belt but I'm confused as to why it only happens when turning right. You would think that the force of turning might push something against something else but because it also happens even at very low speeds is why I'm confused. Does anyone know of any common problems or does anything stand out as being a prime contender? Thanks in advance for any advice, Adam
  11. *edited* sorry didn't realise about advertising for sale
  12. Hi all, long-time viewer, first-time poster. It appears as though the "rest" position for my rear wiper is at about 10-15 degrees rotated up from being flat along the bottom of the window. I have no idea why this is, and it has been like it for a while (can't remember how long) but I didn't want to force it back to the correct position - can anyone tell me how to do it or is it a case of just applying pressure and pushing it back? Many thanks for any advice!
