Cumbo Skoda. Stoke-on-Trent has lost the franchise...
myvRS replied to ecklad's topic in General Automotive Chat
Skoda customer services need to sit up and listen. The reason I left Renault was because all their local dealers shut leaving me with no main dealer for servicing - strangely the local Renault dealer became Skoda! A few years later and there is still no local Renault dealer where will you go next Skoda? Think carefully, flashy showrooms will not keep your customers if you cannot look after them - and Locally! -
Sorry, to hear the news. That is the reason why mine is still standard, would love to have a bit more power but... I'm not a great fan of Skoda Customer Services either but I do understand where they are coming from - unfortunately :thumbdwn:

Has Anyone Ever Had A Knee Operation, few questions
myvRS replied to ben-vrs's topic in The Roadside Hotel
I'm waiting for a knee operation, badly torn medial meniscus :thumbdwn: Had an arthroscopy before - so I can safely say that it will be a day job. You will be home for the evening. Once the anaesthetic wears off if is a touch painful to walk on, give it a couple/three days and it will still be difficult to walk but a lot easier. Probably best not to drive for at least a week or two. However, when all is said and done it depends on the individual. Good luck -
I have also heard that BTP now have a Skoda on the force in London

A very BIG to all those Scooby drivers - Agree with the comment about joining forces with a performance car forum to help with Charity. Top marks to Scooby's it brought tears to my eyes

Too true, I have tried adjusting the headrest to no avail.

Very well done to Kelly She finally had no injuries and proved herself

I have to say that Wonder Wheels has seriously impressed me. I tried all sorts on things before but none came anywhere near close.

Well done to all the rescue services, like many people I have been to Boscastle. Such a lovely village, just hope they can rebuild their lives - but as said above I doubt it will be quite the same again.

I got the same response as above "it is a design feature - not a design fault" and when I mentioned it again the response was "I have not heard that mentioned before" Customer service really is cr*p these days. I also raise the boot about 45 degreesgive it a shake and then open it, a rag stays in the boot and is used for wiping any water that does come in.

I love Top Gear - With better brakes and suspension and the result would have been better. Big Up Skoda

I went, absolutely fantastic as usual and I didn't expect to see Juha stick the Toyota Celica GT4 into the straw bails

I would fly the St George Cross if it didn't make one hell of a noise and damage the paintwork. We should stand up and be proud to be English and not ashamed to show it. Every other country shows their flags. The only reason it has been branded as racist is because of the weak wishy washy politicians of this country. *Rant over* Cry God for Harry, England and St George

The scenic's a good car designed for a purpose. However, I remember when you could buy petrol on gallons and not litres. Now what is the point of that MPG but we will only sell in Litres :thumbdwn:

I've seen forward facing cameras in Chatham flash speeding cars! Couldn't tell you what colour the flash was though.

My front tyres were replaced after just 7k miles, but most of my driving was on main roads and motorways. Not used to tyres wearing so quickly perhaps the vRS is prone to the tracking going out quickly. Tracking and Camber all out plus my suspension comes loose a touch too often.
