225 tt 312mm calipers, will they work for the Vrs as an upgrade

iv had it for about 6 months all the time tried the accelator test and it made no difference, MAF and EGR have been replaced in the last 6-8 months, air filter replaced and all piping it connected correctly! must be ghosts
