My top intercooler hose keeps popping off my vrs where the pipe joins the intercooler, It is those silly VW/Audi clips and every time i put it back on it pops off shortly afterwards! Has anyone had any similar issues with theirs and could anyone supply me with the part number for a new one or decent aftermarket? Any help or advice is much appreciated! A

I have them as a optional extra, never thought something could be so useful!

That red one is a beauty! Are they the 328i wheels? if they are i wish i kept my set as i gave them away!

Did you not warm them up before removing them? my mates one had no issues when we did his... As for re applying i used wabesto (tiger seal) to put them back on...

I know not technically legal but i think those motorbike sized plates (not the square ones) would look ok on the front if it was at the bottom of the bumper...

I just came from a 200bhp Ibiza cupra and must admit the VRS is not the drivers car of the year...however i do enjoy the fact that it is cheap to run tax and insure! and with a remap and decent set of coilies can be a lot of fun... However my petrol turbo itch needs to be scratched and so i am now looking for a Evo 2 or 3 or possibly a starlet for the summer! and the Furby will be sitting under cover for the next few months!

A - Even if it is a good price, its a lot of money for something you are not entirely happy with B - A fool and their money are easily parted Two buying tips from my grandad! also its worth remembering that some of the 06 and 07 fabs have leather too! It certainly looks like it has been there a while, be interesting to see if the performance improves if it is a loose clip as it will be most likely letting out boost pressure!

If i was being critical i'd say the 17's looked better, but i think it is a lot more saleable now! looks clean and tidy bodywork wise too! I think the steelies looked cool and would be ideal winter wheels!, i wouldn't have done them in pink myself but maybe light green or purple if it was my car! Anyway good luck with the sale! Do you still have the pink grill surround?

Hi, I have noticed in the last few weeks that the soot from the rear of my vrs seems to be getting worse.. It is at its worst just as you put your foot down before boost kicks in at 2000 rpm it then goes away and comes back as you hit the higher revs.. The only thing i can think of is that it is due a service (the marker came on the other day) and upon changing the lights the other day i found a bit of black oily gunk behind there...could that be the problem? I know even the standard vrs creates a bit of soot due to the boost i suppose but it is most noticeable at night when other cars are behind me (i can see it in the lights) Any help would be much appreciated! awesome! sounds fairly easy! Changed my bonnet today and that was surprisingly easy!
