I'll be honest my car runs the same had vpower nitro, tesco momentum, and sainsburys super unleaded no difference to high idle. I just presumed running a tmc box with cold engine over fuelling was the reason? I've had mine at my work in Skoda Dundee no faults just a standard over fuel I recon:rolleyes:

Im 20 with vrs tuned with tmc and itg kit all declared 510 a year in quite a rough area. Compared to 1.3 vtec mini me conversion on eg civic which costed me nearpy 2500 on insurance!!!!!!

Me and apapman will be leaving asda Dundee at 12 for arbroath. Ill have some goods from work. Also got cambelt kits on special ill bring a handful :p

Yes it was the 12 plate with 2000 on the clock now 8000. Itg is the next plan. Could have possibly been mine with with black grille standard white roof?

Hello sk4gw. Im certainly used to the oil consumption lol not sure about the oil quantities to be honest. Yes I got an ex salesmans demonstrator.

I'm the same love it just the tech got me abitt concerned. It runs fine sounds great lol

Wondering if anyone else with a vrs has noticed a significant woosh and dumping noise with turbo. Its the same with or without tmc fitted. Had it in work today to finslise the dreaded oil consumption job and the tech noticed it was quite noisey. I never really noticed as I got it as an ex demo already like that lol Anyone else noticed it?

Hey guys ok, Ive ordered 2 sets of Octavia VRS mats 3 sets of new badge centre caps 3 sets of new badges retrofit dab unit new from skoda anything else you guys would want ordered?

Its a retrofit unit that fits through the vag radio to allow your car to utilise dab radio. Approved from skoda so the usual warranty applys to it.

also have autoglym resin polish, polishling cloths and gloss protection on special at work for 15 quid for the three as well since its coming into "summer" lol

well what would you guys be interested in? I was think new style badges, mats, bootmats and maybe new retrofit dab units?

If it fits in the fabia it can be a possibility lol

We use 50501 for fixed servicing because its not long life and doesn't or shouldn't last two year or twenty thousand without going bad. 507 we use for variable servicing and or dpf. Basically because the oil is made specifically for longer servicing. However long life servicing suits motorway miles better than pottering around the town. 5/40 PD would be fine if your servicing very year.

Looks OK I think it still lacks in body curves and design but suppose the Ibiza and polo are more purpose built for younger generation.

I might bring some new skoda goodies from work see if you guys would be interested such as new pure dab kits etc? Good idea or not lol?
