Well done thats a fantastic achievment. Wish I could manage a brown in 2 years!! You must live at the gym. As mentioned if you fancy some mma get along to some Thai boxing and wrestling if you can as control makes a huge difference. I train in Thai boxing as Brazilian jiu jitsu (hopefully or day ill make it to brown!)

Great rally, I would say that though as won by my cousin Russ Thompson

Thanks for the great responses so far. Got 3 kids so far and was worried I wouldn't fit 3 across the back in most (I can't in the octy or the xtrail). I'll get on autotrader and peruse local garages for the recommended vehicles so far for a but if weekend testing and tyre kicking

Thanks for the reply, trying to find the nissan locally is like hens teeth (means it must be decent I take it) thought about a big estate but need one I can get three kids across the back in (3 year old, 18 month and baby en-route)

On the lookout for a new motor as the octy has had its best days and growing family means needing some extra space. Is anyone on here an expert on the larger car as well as the smaller ones. Test drive an XC90 and enjoyer it so thinking of that as first choice but should I be looking at others (zafira, Smax anyothers?) budget is around 10-11k. Over to you my fellow briskodians and thank you in anticipation.

Is it worth reading the Game of Thrones books?
Sid Sidgwick replied to Beancounter1980's topic in Off Topic Chat
Started reading the first book, took a good 40 pages to get used to the narrative style (short chapters focussing on a different character/group in each) but once I'd got into it I couldn't put it down. Find myself constantly wanting to read it and want to read the books befor I watch the TV series as even though ive heard it's good these things are never a patch on the books. -
I got one of these on offer n Hellfrauds last year http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_251011_langId_-1_categoryId_165477 think it was around £40. Used it for a few trips to Centre Parks and been fne each time, says carries 3 bikes but id say 2 adults and maybe a kids at a push.

Wanted a VRS but budget constraints meant I had to go with a 1.8T 4x4 with stage 1 map. So far quite happy with it.

Engine bay wiring diagram needed
Sid Sidgwick replied to Sid Sidgwick's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk I (1996-2004)
The car is running very bad at the moment, starts with a struggle, surging when running and down on power. Do these symptoms sound like N75? also where does the wire go to on the other end so I can trace it? -
Engine bay wiring diagram needed
Sid Sidgwick replied to Sid Sidgwick's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk I (1996-2004)
Just been out in the car and its running very poor and struggling to start. grr pics en route to help people identify. Thanks Tech1e Yellow wire location of snap: Close up: Wire: Location of where 1 end goes to I think (thing next to DV): -
During a evening of fixing I noticed an issue with my lovely octy. I have found a broken wire in the engine bay (yellow wire that comes from what I think is a solanoid near the DV-can you tell im not very technically minded) I cant see where this wire goes so not sure what i need to fix so needing a diagram to help, any body out there got one. Thank Sid Edit-Car had no warning light on until i touched the wire and now it has engine managment light on. (I have had the 17705 code for a while though)
