  1. If you're thinking of getting it done, just do it..... you'll love it
  2. Yeah, but we all know bhp figures is look at the size of my willy talk . It's how the car drives in the real world that counts, and for a 1.2 it's pretty feckin awesome .
  3. To be fair, when i was buying the car about 9 wks ago i test drove the 86ps the 105ps and the 105 diesel. I really liked the diesel but fancied a petrol for a change and can't really say i noticed much difference between the 86 and 105, so opted for the slightly cheaper 86ps with remapping in mind because which ever one i got i'd have remapped, and with the end result being the same it made sense
  4. Hi James, my Monte is 2013, they quote 144/215
  5. Hi George, My car is the 86ps and it's £399+ for the stage 1. I've been exchanging emails with Revo for a week or so, basically asked if they had developed a map for the 1.2 and they told me they had but they need to know the ECU id code to see if my ECU was locked or not (it isn't)
  6. Well i had it Revo'd today (through the OBD) and i'm well impressed, totally transforms the car. It's so much quicker pulling hard all the way through the revs and so much more pull when i put my foot down in top at 65/70. This is now my 4th VAG car i've had Revo'd (Octavia vrs tfsi, Fabia 2 1.9tdpd sport, Passat 1.9tdpd and now my Monte 1.2tsi) and every one has been great. If you're thinking of having it done... just do it, you'll have a grin from ear to ear
  7. Hello all, Has anyone had Revo installed on the 1.2tsi? I'm booked in this week to have it done. Just wandered what anyone thought? Glen

  9. Sounds about right, Both me and the wife have the basic models (no ac, no pipe) and both cars have no cover :-)
  10. Both me and the wife own an S model and they're great, enjoy you'll love it :-)
  11. Nope, called technical on his phone and they said because it goes off after start up all is ok :-(
  12. The Wife's Citigo had now done just 450 miles and the INSP light has come on. Called out Skoda Assist, RAC turned up and said its normal. We'll see about that!
  13. Can confirm mudflaps do their job well :-)
  14. I had both sets but the Dealer is called Marriott Motor Group. http://www.ebay.co.u...984.m1497.l2649
  15. Bridgestone Ecopia's EP25 on my Boggy Basic 60s... Continental on the spare. Exactly the same on the Wife's.
  16. The only drilling is a 5.5mm one hole each side right under the bumper out of sight. They are a perfect fit and look better on the car than in the photo's. Only takes 15mins from start to finish. My scanners decided not to work so here's a photo of the instructions, sorry it's the best i can do.
  17. Hi Crista, yes these are UP! mudflaps got from ebay for £23 pair.
  18. I fitted rear mudflaps on both our Citigo's today, doddle to fit

    Clattering?

Clattering when accelerating sounds like the Timing to me, especially if it is only noticable when accelerating (under load) and can't be heard when revving the engine when the car is stationary (not under load). Worth getting it checked at the Dealers.
  20. That'd be great for pulling the Bike trailor

    gears

I see a couple of Up! owners have had gearboxes replaced under warranty because of this issue.
