Any idea when the order books open for the face-lifted Octavia Scout? I currently have one on a PCH deal that runs out at the end of June and it's been such a great car that I am considering ordering another one, but have been told by my local dealership that the order books haven't yet opened for face-lifted Scouts or VRS's. Given the potnetial waiting lists I'm keen to get my order in ASAP.

Can anyone help me please. When I plug in my iphone6 into my Fabia Monte Carlo Carplay is recognised. However Mirrorlink is not - is this because Carplay is now the default connection? No matter what I do I can't activate Mirrorlink in the menu, it's always greyed out. Carplay works fine but its fairly limited in the number of apps available at the moment, I was hoping to augment the selection with some additional apps via mirrorlink. Can anyone tell me if this is expected behaviour (ie Carplay has taken the place of Mirrorlink) or do I need to do something so that I have the choice to use one or the other. Thanks.

Jono, is it definately too late to change order? Have you checked with your dealer? I too have a Scout on order due to be built next week and would also prefer the Trinity alloys. I've just emailed them to see if the order can be changed. Waiting to hear back.......

No, sorry Exeterj, these are definitely NOT the Pictorius alloys, these alloys are not in the Octavia brochure anywhere - they're new! Any ideas anyone?

On the verge of ordering a Octavia Scout and was just looking at a video on youtube which shows a white Scout at the Geneva motor show, clad in some very nice 18" alloys. Anyone know if these are available to order? I know the 2016 updates are imminent so wondered if they are likely to be an option, because if they are then I think they might be on the options list!

Getting my white monte tech in a couple of weeks, but I believe it comes without the black plastic side protectors down the length of the car body which I'd like to have a I think it improves the look of the car. Can these be ordered from the dealer and retrofitted? If so, is it a DIY job or a dealer job to do so?

I didn't realise that the red seats were an option with the Tech version (I know it's an option in the standard Monte Carlo). I didn't think that there were any options available (apart from the Red or White paint) on the Tech version!

Thanks Guys. The tutorial looks like it relates to the Mk1 Fabia rather than the Mk2 model. Nath17t - I live in North Wales so some distance from Middlesborough. Happy to have a go at removal of passenger side airbag myself is it isn't too tricky - anyone know how easy is it to remove in order to get to the resistor?

Hello everyone. Help! My heater/blower/aircon only works on number 4, which I am led to believe is probably due to a resistor fail. So the big question is, can anyone help me to understand how to change it? I have a Fabia II 2008 Sport 1.9TDi. I've been searching the forums for an answer without much luck. There is plenty of info on here about how to do this on a mark 1 Fabia, but little on how to do it on the mark 2. I understand that the resistor is difficult to get to because of the upper glove box and airbag, so before I attempt to pull something apart and can't get it back together again (!), I was wondering if anyone knew how to replace this part. If you do and you can help (preferably with some pics) then that would be very much appreciated. Many thanks.
