  1. Hi, selling this car which you may have seen on the fabia 2 section (can't seem to find the thread anymore). Lovely car but genuine reason for sale, becoming a full time student bum, so i can walk every where i need. I am based in the north east of england (Blyth). Spec as follows: 1.9TDi PD105 with Revotechnik remap to approx 140bhp. (can have this taken off before sale takes place if desired) K&N panel replacement filter fitted Lowered on Eibach pro-kit springs. MOT till june 2012 (flew through with just worn tyres as advisories) Tax till April 2012 Full Dealer Service History (including cam belt change recently, as well as brake fluid change with 5.1) Has just had four new tyres fitted (toyo t1r's 195/45/16 which are very gripy but were over £300) Fitted the skoda accessories mudflaps my self and i think they look very nice. (more pictures to come). Mileage is 64k. Very good example of the mark 2 fabia £5999 which is a very fair price considering excellent condition of car. If i have missed anything out then please ask
  2. Hi, noticed this on the Milltek site (vrs exhaust) i know it doesn't realy give much info but check it out. http://www.millteksport.com/product.news.read.cfm?articleid=75
  3. All though its already been established, fuel cooler. very important not to damage it or bad things happen according to my mechanic after i told him i had been off roading this was with my old 1.4TDi polo though.
  4. Cheers for the info, got the car on with 47k miles on and since i have only used v-power diesel and some times even used millers addative. once i get the chance i might take it to skoda, otherwise let my mechanic clean it out anyways. he said it should only be an hours work so shouldnt cost me too much.
  5. Hi, my mechanic (not skoda) rekon the egr valve is sticking most likely just clogged up. Been looking through the skoda warrenty as its still within and it looks as tho it should be covered as they havent stated it as part of ware and tear. Has anyone had any probelms with thier egr valve or with the skoda dealer trying to get it fixed. Btw me cars the 1.9TDi 105PD. Cheers.
  6. Depends what you want, on my old polo tdi i had poor tyres on the back and good on the front (how i bought it). In the dry it had good driving characteristics ie no understeer. In the wet though it liked to oversteer a lot, but once you get used to it it was fine. If you have the money good tyres all round.
  7. Realy? i no its a bit boy-to-the-racer, but am 21 n enjoy a brisk drive anyway so i expect people to think am that. If anything i dislike the knockhill one on the back more, liked the symatry of the badge without anything else. Getting a Revo Technik sticker probly for the top of my windscreen in one of the corners so will post a picture when a get it. Thanks for the input tho.
  8. Only just relised i missed posting one of me vinyl pics, and in my opinion the best one. here it is. Also have fitted the whiteline RARB, placed on the middle setting and tbh i cant tell much of a difference. Gona try it on the hardest setting when i get the chance but am a little annoyed as i thought it would help alot including sum oversteer when i want it.
  9. They have made the audi s1, polo gti, fabia vrs, seat ibiza all with the same engine. no chance in hell they will add a diesel engine in just for the fabia. And therefore my mk2 diesel will remain one of the fastest mk 2 oil burners around :-)
  10. Well mainly on the front/drive wheels, but the tyres should be **** so wont be ideal. (I trust my mechanic as he seems to be very good, and enjoys motorsport himself and is a VAG group enthausist) I was thinking more some cheap steel wheels with sum winter tyres on. My work is in the contry side effectively, and if it continues it will be hard to get in and i dont want to crash. Also thought about chains but a think they will be a little bit impractical.
  11. Hope everyone is enjoying the snow, =) Had my car going sideways downhill on the A69 yesterday night/ this morning coming home from work. Luckily went off left and the very deep snow slowed me down so i regained control. And have just been reading up on the stock bridgestone tyres being very poor, so am thinking of maybe getting a set of winter wheels and tyres if i can find them for cheap? What do people think, i have also heard that having thin tyres help and my mechanic suggested 2nd hand space savers? Let me know.
  12. **** easy mate, two 501 sidelight type bulbs and a festoon type same as the rear license plate lights. clear cover pops off and u replace.
  13. Hi, a mate of mine just bought a vinyl machine so put some on, n finally put the briskoda one on. Sunstrip did not go very well so will sort that another day. Also put white light LED's into me interior, hard to get a genuine idea of what they like through this pic but they look good. Let is know what you think lads.
  14. Doubt the gearing will be a problem apart from wen driving briskly, the 5th gear of my sport tdi is long enough, crusing at 70 is at 2100rpm i think. Mine is quiet fast with the remap on aswell, but depends wot u want and need from the car.
  15. Hi, kept the car seein no one wanted it So have debadge the rear fabia part, but it has left the horrible glue stuff behind. Anyone know any good way of gettin that off? got picture that i will try n upload of the mess it has left behind. Thanks.
  16. Check autotrader, one place doing ex demo 3000milers for £13000 i think, which is pritty good. unless i missread. This one was a green hatch.
  17. Is he not on about the mk2 grill though, was thinking of doing it myself but thought the chrome looked alright. Think its only a couple of screws then clips.
  18. Yeah mate my rev meter and speedo do not have any gauges in them, my fuel level is in the middle as an lcd. So does nobody one know if the thermastat sensor can be used to make an aftermarket gauge work thanks?
  19. Thanks for the info, bit of a shame realy. Probs just gonna save for the whiteline bar
  20. Yeah, u got a mechanical gauge like or electrical one in the mpg stuff? Mine has nothing, would like to set one up for winter. I also have the standard dash on the sport model, do you have the maxidot or anything? Thanks
  21. Does anyone know if the new fabia vrs has a rear anti roll bar as standard? And if so if it can be retrofitted to my fabia 08 1.9TDi Thanks.
  22. Looking at getting to gauges for me car, turbo pressure and water temp. water temp due to the fact the standard car does not have one which confuses me. Was needing to know if there is already a sensor there that can be used or a new sensor will need to be fitted for the water temp to work. Any info will be useful, Cheers.
  23. Hi, sorry for late reply, toyed with the idea of keeping it. but yes a couple of the alloys do have scuff marks can pic and post asap. bump strips i still ave, dunno how well they will go back on but they are like 20 bob new anyways. Let me know if anyone is still interested.
