Having one an Octavia Mk11 from new (2005) I love my Skoda. I am looking to buy a Superb estate 66 plate SE technology TDI with 26000 on the clock. Currently advertised for £11800 One previous keeper and full Skoda history. Would you say this is a good deal/great deal/walkaway? If I do buy, what am I looking for at point of sale and future? I know there is loads of advice on here so thanks in advance.

What should I expect to pay? I know that the prices for bush kits vary massively.

I haven't yet. I use a local independent garage for service etc. Last year the fly wheel went so that cost me. The car isn't worth a great deal now and I just don't want to be pouring money into it. With the timing belt due as well it's all stacking up.

My 05 1.9tdi 105PD Mk2 has just done 120K miles. As I understand it the timing belt is due changing again, it was changed at 60K. Also all the bushes are worn so it won't get through it's MOT in October. Because of the cost am gonna have to get rid, which is sad as I've had her from new and am quite fond of her.

I have a 2005 MK2 Octavia 1.9TDI. When I got to work today my car had started making a similar noise. Mine is from the near side. It feels like clutch or gearbox issues. Was able to drive home with no loss of power, but on ticker the noise is bad. Ive done 117K and just had a service/MOT.

I’m following this post with interest. Last week travelling down the M1 to London cabin temp dropped and no matter what speed the fan was at there was practically no airflow. Read a post about resetting the flaps and that worked but only for about 5 minutes. Outside temp was between 5 & 7 degrees. Not a pleasant trip. Mine’s an 05 fl 1.9tdi elegance. Not sure if I will be able to see any codes, I have the mp3 & 6 CD player. Following this thread with baited breath! Ps how much is a new sensor?

I think my HU is an Audience with MP3. I want to change for a decent unit with Bluetooth. Not that worried about satnav but would like to keep the heater/reverse sensor display if possible. I'm not up to scratch on all the tech stuff so would probably end up getting it installed for me. Any ideas? Its an 05 MK2 PFL TDI105PD Elegance BTW.

Recently topped the big 100K. and decided to keep the girl. Just want to upgrade the sound system now.

My 05 1.9tdi 105pd has been great. Just coming up to 100k on the clock and love her. I have only been doing short trips mostly for the last 5-6 years with the occasional holiday to wales or Cornwall giving me some longer runs. Had her from new and always serviced. Depending on the state of the disc shield it may be the shield itself touching the disc. Mine are rusted and as bits rot and become loose they bend into the disc. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Possibly Spring broken or damper. Just had two new front tyres and tracking done. I've also started to get an intermittent knocking, but on the front end. Everything looks okay and the springs look okay. Any ideas before I Bing it back into the garage that did the tyres etc. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Well thats a shocker. The small piece of insulation is £68. Ouch. Do I need it or can I just ditch it and the cover?

I have water that comes in around the front passenger door. Not sure where it starts to get in, but when I open the door there is a lot along the door seal which seems to have overflowed into the cabin. Also when I open the door it runs off the bottom of the door. Any ideas? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Had my PFL mk2 for over 10 years. It has an Audience 6cd MP3. Had the same thing happen 2 or 3 times in it's life. No other ill effects though and the last time was about 4 years ago. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Cheers. Battery changed and apart from an initial bit of strangeness with indicators all seems great. Just my glow plugs to change now. I've been trawling the site and it seems Beru and Bosch are the preferred. But there are all sorts of part numbers. I put my ref into the europarts website and these come up.
