  1. My partner has just got a 1.0 Citigo sport and even though she has only done 300 miles so far i drove it to Lincoln the other day only aorund 90 miles or so round trip but i averaged 64mpg and i was revving it to the allowed maximum which is 4k at the minute until she has done a few more miles, fantastic little car £20 a year road tax very low insurance... Highly reccomended... My Uncle has an i10 and he says its not great on fuel but like on of the other guys says they are not the latest technology engines so aren't going to be as economical as your Fiats and Volswagens etc...
  2. Hi Guys i do know how to communicate and this is something i moan at my daughter about as everything is done by text and when they meet face to face they don't know what to danyway I digress, its not always possible to use my phone during work hours so I thought the website would be a good idea, I will give them a call when i get a spare minute but this will more than likely be Saturday now. I may have already found another car somewhere else now but if this is no good then Hortons are my back up plan..
  3. I hate to moan about somewhere i Ihad previously got good service from but I am due to change my Fabia VRS diesel and saw a nice Race Blue Octy VRS on the website i enquired via the webpage regarding a test drive and got no response i then enquired about a valuation on my car and still no response, what is the point of having a webisite if no one repsonds to queries from potential customers, i'm sad to say they may have lost a sale as i was more than prpeared to buy this VRS from them pending a test drive.
  4. My partner has just bought a pre registered 13 plate Citigo Sport from them and got a cracking deal on it, really nice guys who work there couldn't do enough for us, she picked it up yesterday and i must say it is a cracking little car...
  5. Nice Picture of the 037 Lancia Rally Car my dad used to work for Lancia and bought home a works rally car that had been displayed at the dealers he worked at before he took it to Silverstone the next day for some sort of event. The registration was Dry 7 after the Martini sponsorship. Some nice cars there old and new...
  6. Just switched over from Aviva to Adrian Flux after Aviva wanted over £900 to insure my Fabia VRS and my MX5 Adrian Flux's price was with all mods declared too, very happy with the service and the price would recommend them to anyone...
  7. Yeah looking at Triumph Street Triple or even a Tiger, then again if a nice TLR came up at the right price i'd have another one of those...
  8. Fine by me think she added me the other day (TLR996) so have been and done the usual tap tap on a daily basis, i havebought all the land and all the buildings and items i want so will have to wait and see if they expand it anymore? The hack that was linked up on here works a treat and saves you from having to spend **** loads of money to get all the premium stuff.
  9. Hi Guys, just stumbled across this post and thought i'd add in my bike history starting from being 16 and getting a moped anyway here we go in chronological order:- 1. Puch Maxi moped, filed ports home made expansion chamber exhaust for a twist and go it went quite well 55mph.. 2. Suzuki GP100, was a heap when i bought it resprayed it all, micron exhaust re spoked the back wheel and rebuilt the engine. 3. Yamaha RD125 DX twin nicknamed the custard cream as it was the bright yellow speed block colours had a set of race pipes on and sounded awesome. 4. Yamaha RD125 LC mk2 probably my favourite bike as it was the first bike that would do a ton and showed up many Aprilia and Cagiva Mito's costing three times as much. 5. Yamaha RD350 YPVS Mk1 another favourite of mine again had race pipes on and sounded awesome didn't handle very well though. 6. Yamaha FZR400 1WG first 4 stroke and was bloody good revved to 14,500rpm sounded ace with a straight through pipe on it. 7. Suzuki GS500 don't know why i got this but i only had it about a month before i swapped it for the next bike, it was ok ... 8. Yamaha TZR250 great bike but a little two small for me and in side winds it was terrible.. 9. Yamaha FZR600 this was a beautiful bike in TECH 21 Suzuka 8Hr race colours kept it pretty much standard had it for about a year not as much fun as the 400 though.. 10.Yamaha FZR400 Exup 3EN1 second 400 i owned and the best one once i got the suspension sorted for my weight and riding style, in the twisties i used to leave my mate on his ZXR750 for dead ...lol 11.Suzuki TL1000S this was the unrestricted version and i loved it had a set of Quill race cans on it that sounded amazing along with a few other tastefull upgrades, handled great if you rode it properly... 12.Suzuki GSXR750 K1 this was mint when i bought it and had very low mileage unfortunately two of the gears wore in the gear box so needed to be stripped on putting it back together the local dealer forgot to replace all the studs in the sump and it ****ed oil all over the place lost confidence in the bike after that and sold it. 13.Suzuki TLR1000 my favourite bike of all time not to everyone tastes but i think it has one of the best looking front ends of any bike and i even lliked the back end, very comfortable for a sports bike, took it around the Nurburgring in 2009 then the black forest and the B500 to Baden Baden the year later two must do's if you go to Germany, also did my first track day at Cadwell on it which was a hoot. 14.Aprilia RSV1000 Mille this was bright Yellow looked very nice handled and stopped very well but lacked the grunt and excitment of the TLR and thus i never really gelled with it sold it last year and bought an MX5 track car.. I may have missed a couple of bikes that i only had briefly but these are the ones that made an impression on me and that i enjoyed riding. Cheers Steve
  10. Been playing a while add me TLR996...
  11. Sorry to jump in on this post but as i love the sound of the merlin engine and have some pretty good pictures of the BBMF myself i thought it might be worth mentioning that the Lancaster at East Kirkby has had its main spar replaced and could now be made airworthy as that was the only thing that was stopping them from getting it in the air, so fingers crossed we could have two Lancs flying in Lincolnshire this time next year. Excellent pictures to...
  12. i've got the same problem and its the rear tires, going to get the balance re checked this weekend just to make sure that is ok but they hum quite loudly between 40 and 60ish mph, wheel bearings have been checked and are ok.
  13. I've had a 170bhp Revo remap on my Fabia VRS for three years over 40k miles and its excellent loads of torque bigger spread of power good mpg and less smoke... what more would you want...
  14. <p>Good to meet you both, and yeah Cadwell is awesome I've done it on two three and four wheels and its been a blast on all, I'll let him know there is a video of him in the Mazda. His other car is a 650bhp Skyline GTR but he doesn't do track days in that,a bit too much of a handful for Cadwell especially in those conditions...The next time you come up I'll either bring my VRS or use my track car MX5 especially if i have it supercharged by then.;-)
  15. Went to Cadwell today to watch my Bro in a supercharged MX5 and bumped into a couple of fellow Briskodians, must say quite envious of both cars for different reasons.. Good but very cold and slippery day would've loved to have taken mine round but that will have to wait until next year now... Link to pics on my Photobucket account, PM me if you want any of the full res versions emailing? http://s906.beta.photobucket.com/user/TLR996/library/Winter%20Track%20Day%20Cadwell%202nd%20December%202012 Cheers, Steve
