I have a similar issue. My Superb has been hovering around the week 19/20 build week for a couple of weeks now which is sometime in May. Or I can pick up a nearly new Passat R-Line estate 2.0 bitdi 240 4x4 with approx 4K on the clock with a similar level of kit and led headlights for less than what I am paying for the L&K. I appreciate there is depreciation etc but at least I will have a similar car. Also my S2 L&K is starting to annoy me

Spoke to SCS UK (not the furniture shop although I wonder if I would get it quicker...) this afternoon and mine has moved forward a mighty week from 20 to 19. So at least it is moving in the right direction. Ordered L&K.

Saw a white Superb Estate this morning between J19 and 18 M4 eastbound around 6.50am.

Is that the one that is on autotrader for a tad under £30k I was considering that one but decided to order a new one which had a few more bells and whistles. It's a 4x4 I believe. The two guys I spoke to on the phone seemed decent people,

So the one that everyone will by, the 2.0 TDI Estate with 148bhp and SE L trim, will set you back £27,820. A lot of car for the money, even if it’s not a fantastically interesting one." I tend to ignore 'experts' who fail to proof read their own copy! He spent too much, time, on, punctuation and not on speeeellling! Everyone will 'by' = buy Anyway with a magazine/website like top gear Skoda is never going to really win them over. I'll just get back to my caravan

My order which I placed in Dec 2015. This was for an L&K with lots of extras including the sunroof has only just got a unconfirmed build date this week of week 20 which is mid May! So likely to see the car in June. So 6-8 months is realistic based on my experience

Did your dealer tell you this or Skoda CS? When I phoned them they told me that my car didn't even have an unconfirmed build date it was just sat at status 0. However when I spoke to my dealer they suggested it was going to be build week 11 again as unconfirmed. Just for info I have ordered a L&K 2.0tdi 4x4 estate with a lot of extras. Really annoying and I am on the verge of cancelling and ordering an A6 instead which will be here in March,

Well I spoke to Skoda UK Customer Services and they have completely contradicted what the dealer told me last week. Last week I was told it would be unconfirmed week 11 by the dealer. When I spoke to Skoda today they have told me they are having problems with L&K's due to supply issues and that my order is still stuck at status 0 and there is no estimated date. Absolute nightmare. Dealer is meant to be calling me to discuss the situation! Really getting frustrated over this.

Mines a 190 4x4 L&K estate(combi) so that is probably why mine is further delayed compared to yours. Ho hum...

Yep I said it. This is what i was told by my dealer which got this from the factory. Basically they are grouping orders together based on spec and they have said that the L&K's will be built around week 11. I think this might have something to do also with the issue with supplies of the standard L&K 18" Alloys which won't be available until week 11. I asked if I changed the spec of my car would this improve things but they said that my order might get pushed to the back of the queue. So I am going to sit tight

Spoke to the dealer this afternoon and have been told my L&K 4x4 is planned for Wk11. They have said that: - Alloys have been delayed to Wk11 (Pegasus Anthracite 18s) - L&K trim is not selling very well so they are batching orders together - Brown interior with Beige headlining is also delaying things

I ordered mine about a week after you and have not got a build date yet (confirmed or unconfirmed). Have you recieved this information or is it the dealer just giving you a rough idea?

I am certainaly looking at other options at the moment. Going to test drive a 2.0 tdi A6 estate DSG on saturday. If I like it might order the Quattro version of this which has just been released. Don't really want to go down this route as the car is smaller, more expensive and in my mind an earlier generation motor being originally released in 2011. The other option that I am exploring is the 240bhp Passat estate GT. Not sure what lead times look like on this as I only emailed the dealer today. What annoys me is I ordered my car in the middle of December and still don't have an confirmed of unconfirmed build date whereas the a Wife walks into an Audi Showroom on the 2nd Jan, Places the order on the 3rd and today get a build date of week 5. This is for an A3 E-Tron with a number of toys. How annoying is this???

Well I'm not quite sure. When I spoke to the dealer just before Christmas he mentioned that it was the sun roof that was causing the delay although I have ordered many optional extras so could be any one of them for a L&K. Have spoke to them this afternoon and they have said that the order has been confirmed by the factory but there is currently no build date. Not sure if this is a confirmed or unconfirmed date. Apparently the car is sitting at status 0. The May / June delivery was the estimate I received when placing the order. Looks like my wife will get her A3 e-tron before me and that was only ordered on Saturday. Not sure I can wait that long...

That's right. When I bought my ex Skoda uk S11 which was only 4 months old at the time I was told that I couldn't extend the warranty to 5 years. I could however at the end of the 3 year period buy a 12 month Skoda aftermarket warranty that would cost more then extending the the warranty to 5 years had I bought the car from new. Considering that I have used the warranty at least 10 times during the 32 remaining months for my piece of mind it is a no brainer to extend it on my new car, One of the main differences between the factory warranty and aftermarket is that they won't cover any investigation work on the aftermarket warranty so you would have to cover this. Or did you mean December 2015? ) I ordered mine in mid December and due to the delays in some of the extras I have specified apparently this means I won't get my car until June 2016 although this could be 2017 you never know. I have been thinking about maybe going for an A6 instead. Although this would be substancily more cash to get anywhere near the same spec

Andy I think you are right. I ordered an L&K last week and my dealer is quoting June as a delivery date. He has said that it is the sun roof that is delaying things. Hope I am wrong.

I have ordered a brown urn and have been advised 'June' 2016 (although he didn't actually say which year ) ) I believe this is due to the Sunroof not being available. Haven't got an SLI yet as only placed the order on Saturday. Hopefully this will come forward.

Well I finally parted with £500 yesterday to secure my new S3. Starting a new job in February which will be doing an 80 mile round trip commute so I wanted a DSG box and the extra driver features will be handy on the M4. Going for brown again. I assume it is the same brown as the S2? With the full brown interior. Will be interested to see what the lead time quoted will be... So are the lights better than those on the pre facelift superb 2 with Xenons? I have found main beam beam on my current car to be absolutely brilliant but dipped beam bordering on the dangerous with the relatively short beam pattern.

Hello all, I am looking to move from a S2 to an S3 and want some advice on phone set ups. In my S2 things were easy, you just connected my S5 mini to the car via rSap and you pretty much had a rock solid phone signal wherever you went. When I connected my iPhone it connected via Bluetooth but you were lucky if you had a usable signal. I know the new Superb I am looking at has CarPlay and Mirrorlink but as far as I am aware this doesn't do anything to enhance the phone signal? Also does the Superb still come with the rSap 'Premium' option or has this now been removed? The other option I have seen is the Phonebox feature has any body selected this and have they seen an improvement in reception? I think the rSap feature is brilliant and is the reason I have an Andriod phone as my work phone it would be a real shame if that option is lost. Any info would be appreciated.
