Yes they do and have. Hard old tyres on my tiguan ruined the ride and steering characteristics and the tyres had 5mm of tread left on them. VW won't sell a used car with tyres older than 3 years on due to this hardening effect.

People need to play around with the settings as you can change most of what has been posted above. And remember just because the nav says go one way you don't have to follow it.

Uk market got 18's as standard on the hatch gtd but still no official word on UK spec for the gtd estate yet.

Its still cheaper to run a diesel no matter what and dpf issues are a thing of the past now since its been moved by vw.

Saw toothing on rear tyres has nothing to with wheel alignment....apparently. VW tech told me the other day it was due to the tyre compound on certain brands of tyres not being good enough. Still not sure I believe him.

It's so the less informed spend 105 quid on fog lights and 310 quid on high beam assist. Nothing new as vw do the same. I just want to check coming from the golf I don't need to watch out for something I have now and won't get on the Octavia.

Am looking at changing my mk7 gtd golf for the Octavia and was wondering are the cornering fogs able to be coded with vcds? I know the intelligent high beam assist can which would be another thing to do and save £310 on.

Same on VW too. It's for the new replacement for the equivalent nav pro that gets car net etc. It'll change to 6.5”instead of 5.8” too from bw22.
