Any ideas about defrosting the system ? Or do I pray for a heatwave ?

I have the same issue. Swapped fuse yesterday all fine then this a.m. no joy. I'm going to try to flush the system and refill with good screen wash - unless someone can suggest what could be causing the washer pump to keep blowing fuses? Could it just be the cold as I can't hear the pump even "trying" David, did you change fuses or just defrost the nozzles?

My local Skoda dealer wanted a minimum of 30 mins labours to remove the CD player. not very helpful IMO

I am fully aware and have hopefully fixed the issue with the wet carpets in the rear passenger footwells. BUT : despite a good search of this forum no one seems to be mentioning water collecting in the Spare Wheel Well. The carpet in the boot (Fabia Silverline Estate) is dry on top and substantially dry underneath, but pints of water are accumulating at an alarming rate. The rear washer functions absolutely fine and there is no obvious sign of any entry point for this water. I would be grateful if someone could point me in the right direction here. great forum by the way !! Thanks in anticipation, D
