  1. I'm trying to remove the side rails for the false boot bottom in my superb. I have attached a photo of what I believe to be the release mechanism. I presume I turn it one way or another but I cannot get it to budge. Can anyone give me more information on this?
  2. I have a 2014 L&K Superb. It has KESSY. When I switch off the ignition this comes up on the MaxiDot display: 'Check SAFELOCK! Owner's manual!'. The KESSY system seems to be working fine and I can see no reason why this should be showing. Any insight anyone?
  3. I have been searching to find out what the Skoda recommendation is for DSG oil change on a 2014 2L 170bph Superb is. I can't find it online. Can anyone please tell me?
  4. Thank you guys. I didn't realise this feature was on the car. I have done a deal and am picking it up next week. I must check out the ventilated seat feature.
  5. Yikes! I didn't realise. I meant to go to the Superb II section. Thanks. Perhaps the moderator can delete this thread.
  6. I have test driven a 2014 L&K Superb. It has an uprated sound system. I noticed a sound coming from the passenger side. I first thought it was a static sound coming from the passenger door speaker but upon investigation found that the sound was coming from under the seat. There is a unit under there and I presume that this unit is the amp for the sound system. It doesn't seem to switch off. Is this normal?

  8. Thanks for all the comments. Very helpful. I am listening for noise and think I hear it now. Will book it in I guess and get the cheque book ready!
  9. I have just been told that I should have my dual mass flywheel and possibly clutch replaced. I have a 2010 2.0TDI 170 bph. I have 118k Km's (73k miles) on the clock. I was not expecting this. The mechanic said it is making noise. I can't hear it but I trust him implicitly, I've used him for years. Is this normal or am I just unfortunate? Any comments and thoughts here? Many thanks.

  11. Hello Fernrock Can you tell me if the M6, M3 and new junctions on the M50 are on the new mapping and which dealer updated the mapping for you? Thanks.
  12. If you are considering a liner for your boot I would highly recommend the 'Plastic Boot dish'. You could throw anything in the boot without concern for the carpet. It is code DCE 800 001 in the Irish accessories catelogue anyway.
  13. Thanks for that. I will do so immediately. It's a public holiday in ROI on Monday so I will call Skoda customer service on Tuesday and then head off to the dealer. You would hope that you could just trust them. Will let you know how I get on. Anyone else found this a problem?
