Hi guys, just had new clutch kit fitted........good. Gearbox stud broken where it bolts to subframe.......bad. Was holding up, but had to pull across junction fast, and now clunks when changing gear, guess this is the cause ? Also when starting car, as it catches, there's a strange back n forth motion!!!!!! Again will this be the loose mounting? Anyone local anyone can recommend to fix the stud cheaply? Thx guys, just more stress!

Hi guys, whilst changing door, I managed to break the white plastic thingy that the door knob goes into, also the long rod from the lock itself, seems to be weighted as well. it sits under the door knob..........what is this called, and is it main dealer only ? Also how does it remove from door? Thx.

Hi guys, just lost my job :( And on top of that, clutch is slipping!!!! Plus needs 2 rear shocks, and 3 locks replacing f......k. Anyway where is the cheapest place to buy clutch kit, and also what about using pattern shocks? Anyone recommend any they've fitted? Thanks guys.

Hi guys Clutch slipping v slightly, so getting a new one, seeing as I am seriously skint at the mo', do I have to replace the DM flywheel, as that is what costs all the money! Also how easy is it to replace clutch on an Octy vrs mkI, could I do it at home? Cheers.

Hi guys, Have a mkI vrs hatch, engine is a goodun, done 116k and runs really well, need an estate version so just bought a really clean 04 with 151k for £750. Can I just swap the engines over? Is there any difference in fittings etc....? Also guess all interior bits swap too? Was £750 for an 04 with 151k good or have I been ripped off? It runs perfect, and has a massive wad of history and receipts. Cheers. Paul

Hi Guys, Ok so all my VRS doors have different problems!!!! What parts do I need and how do I fix them? Front Drivers Door - Fine Front Passenger - Not opening on remote or door switch, will unlock if I hold interior handle and unlock on door switch. Rear Drivers Side - Not locking on remote, can lock manually and will unlock on remote. Rear Passenger Side - Locked solid cannot open anyway. Please help guys, broke so gotta fix myself, so need to know what bits I need, and how to remove door panels if needed, especially the one I can't open! Any help really appreciated, especially pics, step by steps, etc Thx

Hi guys, My rear nearside door is locked closed, and will not open whatever I do! How do I get this open (links or pics pls) and what part will I need to replace once in and opened? It doe rattle in there, could it just be something thats come apart. All, any help gratefully received, thx people.

Hi there got mine from eBay and very pleased, not originals but the fit is excellent and quality is good especially for £30.00 . For this sort of money you could by 4 sets for the price of skoda originals. Best wishes

Hi everyone Can someone help me, 2 weeks ago I went to open my drivers door and the handle did nothing it just moves back and forth freely, I assume that a cable has detached or broken, so I want to remove the door panel to try and fix it. What scares me is the amount of electrics etc... can you guys offer advice on removing the panel what i'm likely to find and how easy is it all to put back My model is a 2003 mk1 Octavia Vrs. Hi guys Anyone running a Forge DV Split R (the one that gives you option of recirc or atmo) Are they any good? are they noisy sound cool or crap? Easy to fit? Any effect on car good or bad? Like the idea of atmo noise any better ones on market? Thinking of buying 1 soon so would be grateful for any comments.
