So I just found out its from ODIS software,so it does not apply to me as I will be using VCDS. Iam going to perform towbar coding from the ,,vcds tried and tested" section. Anybody have anymore info about should I be aware of ......

In the original manual for towbar wiring kit us written to perform ,,functional test of the tow bar". -Activate administration of program versions SVM. -select function 3 -enter code and confirm My question is what is it?Is it just a software update and does it have to be performed? Also do I have to code CAN, BCM, engine, ABS, Park assist, Front assist after or before?

Amp automatically detect input and will switch itself on. It has got fuse on the back panel 15A and current consumption is 15A. Should be connected to permanent supply as stated on the manual.

Iam about to connect Pioneer GM-D1004 - 4 amplifier,which is a very small amplifier and does not have to be wired directly from battery.(15A current) . So was thinking to wire it from fuse box either 48 or 47number,so 15A fuse should be ok.Does anyone have experience with wiring this amp?Or should I just go normal battery way?

Also if I change them to good Led bulbs that should do the trick As far as I know they got less consumption then standard halogen(about 1w per bulb).

Thanks for advice. What about top interior light to hook them up? I've read somewhere on octy MK2 forum. So would It cause some issues? I know It's best to do it properly but don't have access to VCDS.Trying to find simple solution but also do it safely and not ended up blowing up some fuse.

Hi,guys Iam also interested to retrofit footwell lights.Just the front ones....what if I wire them from door light(red one)...Would that work? I've got those cut-out holes ready under dash. Just trying to stay away from vag coding and keep the cost down......

And what about errors on diagnostics?Does it mean anything.I think engine shoud start even in freezing temperature no matere what. Do i have to replace battery?I was thinking maybe fuel pump,or engine temperature sensor.

helle there, iam having starting problems on my fabia,its happening after cold night,freezing temperature,it wont start first time,second time is ok,sometimes start to wiggle then turns on,or i have to help him with accelaration..... I have done diagnostics test few weeks ago,all errors was deleted [lamda sonda fault,imobiliser] after few miles get scanned again,with no errors.It was fine for 2 weeks,now problem still exist. I ve changed spark plugs,all filters..After switching ignition on and trying to start engine shows ABS light for couple of seconds,then it is comming off. Any suggestions? thank you
