Well after all the waiting, picked up my Yeti yesterday... What can i say apart from love it. It is even better than i could remember. Drives beautifully. Build quality fantastic. OH who had not seen it commented on what a posh looking car it was and how smooth the ride was. To top it all of, i have not seen another yeti on the road until today, when a driver flashed me and waved.. I couldnt help but laugh all the way to work. Another added bonus was that i managed to get 45.9 mpg. Not the overall average but it did hit it, so some promise maybe for later when run in. I will get photos done this weekend when the sun is shining.

Rang dealer today just to check if things were on track,as they had given me this week for build. She looked on computer and told me it has left the factory and sat at dockside waiting for a a boat. Dealer did say it was pot luck when it gets on, but as they are out of peak time ,it should be on there fairly soon. Dealer said peak times are March and september and october of each year. They also said skoda has put factory production up for Yeti by 40% as they never expected it to be so popular.

OOOO, just another thought, if Quidco.com doesnt come up trumps, try other cashback site. But only genuine sites. Alternatively go to Martin`s money saving expert site which will give all credited cashback sites and give you step by step instructions of how to get more for your money....Good luck This not only applies to car insurance but all sorts of things.

I went on money supermarket .com and got a quote for.....................................................wait for it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! £151.38p fully comp Unfortunately, i havent got my car yet, so hoping it will be that low again, when it finally arrives :p Just another tip, look on quidco.com and see if they have any car insurance deals, then go on compare site. If some of the lowest quotes on compare site are on quidco site, go through quidco and you can get more money off. My friend got here car insurance for £89 fully comp for year.....YES it is possible if you are prepared to spend abit of time. God just read that all back...hope it makes some sort of sense to you all. Edited to say just done another search and got £146.00 with endsleigh. Maybe cause i live on IOW only drive bout 10 miles per year

im real pleased for you, i honestly am (said through gritted teeth) you lucky ******. your gonna love it. Well i contacted my dealer today and they said mine is due to be built end of April. They also said that they have not heard anything regarding building times slipping...so i may still be on for 12-13 week wait....HIp Hip HOORAY. but then other half said dont waste your breath, things could change in a flash..... :'( they always have to go and ruin it.

Ummmmm . I think I had better find something to do with my time, as I feel I maybe waiting a while. FocusZtec....OMG ordered first week in January and still waiting till end of April. Is it coming gold plated...... You must be a very very patient man or senile (no offense), so that you can forget now when you actually ordered it. So when it finally does arrive, you will have forgotten how long you waited. Patience of a saint i`d say... (Bit disappointed i couldnt add smiley face with Halo overhead.) Hi, I ordered my Yeti a few weeks ago. Was just wondering from order to delivery, how long did you guys and gals have to wait. Not that im impatient at all. Just getting a little concerned, as have been reading back through some of the topics and expected delivery times appear to be put back all the time. Was wondering who has so far had to wait the longest. I know it will be worth the wait, but i would actually like it before christmas 2010

Ive done it, its ordered and the colour is........................Steel Grey. Looked lovely in the showroom. Wanted to drive it away there and then. Now im soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo excited . Only possible 8-12 weeks to wait Dealer told me they had sold and delivered 14 yetis to their new homes to date. But im yet to see any on the roads. where are they hiding?????? Looking forward to postimg my piccies as soon as its here. Claurette

Shrub, I decided for the S model for exactly the same reasons as you mentioned, ESP, Spare wheel. But I would have liked to drive an E model and compare against the S had the choice been available, as im not sure if there would have been any difference at all as everything else is exactly the same, apart from interior.. but would have been nice to compare. Oh and i wanted to have the option of parking sensors which dealer told me i could get with S model. Thanks to everyone who replied and gave pictures, however they look stunning in any picture so im guessing it has confused me more. Off to dealers today so will have to make my mind up by midday. Oh decisions, decisions!!!!! who would have thought it would be so hard to choose a colour.....however am verging towards the cappacino......but then again!!!!!!!!!!!!! Perhaps if i persuaded OH to get one then he could have the steel grey...problem solved. Well i will keep looking at the piccies till lunch time, then take the plunge into Yeti world....will keep you posted. Once again thanks for all your views and pictures kind regards Claurette

Hello again, I am luckily in a position to order my Yeti, however i just cannot decide on what colour. Im steering towards steel grey OR cappucino. Has anyone got any pictures of their car in these colours and how the colours are fairing well in this c**p weather. I have also decided to go for 1.2 tsi S model rather than the E model.The down side i have been informed there is approx 12 week wait. :-( Kind regards Claurette

Hi Guys, I`m new here, but have been lurking in the wings for some time. My question is , has anyone seen a Yeti E. I really want a 1.2 TSI but to try and keep the costs down,( I know its not a lot of difference, but every penny counts) I am thinking of the E. But i have yet to see one in the flesh. Its really hard to judge from a picture what the Yeti would look like with out the spot lights. I must admit I am very envious of those of you that have got there`s as I most probably will have to wait a while till i can order one, but all good things come to those that wait :'( well thats the saying anyway, but not sure if its true.
