Thanks for your reply Yes, I have tried holding the rocker button on the end of the wiper / washer stalk. no menu comes up, blank display.

I was wondering if anyone has had experience of the following issue. (first post so please be gentle) 56 plate 2.0 TDI Elegance Superb. (owned for a 2 weeks) The centre console Multidot display. does not seem to be working correctly. 90% of the time it is blank, but on 2 occasions it operated normally. I thought that the display was switch off but after reading the manual, I cant seem to switch it on. the times I did see the display it was during warning conditions. (low fuel, high coolant temp) so do I have a fault? or is there a way I can switch the display on normally or is there anything else I can check? Thanks
