    Yeah and in my case the update made no difference whatsoever.

    I have to say in my case the software update did nothing to improve this. I got them to double check and they said it was all up to date.

    Mine still does it after update. I think the software update was 320F over cranking.

    I also agree having driven an Octy with a non coded towbar system in my opinion its not worth the risk. But each to there own of course.

    I have given up with it. I sent mine to the dealer on several occasions had all the available updates and pursued it with Skoda UK. They were helpful but offered no solution. It bugs the hell out of me and it shouldn't do it but I have learned to try to ignore it. The car goes soon anyway and I won't be having another.

    Mine is still over cranking. So the update has made no difference to mine.

    You pay your money and you take your choice. I run a large fleet and have never had any warranty issues including good will outside of warranty. However that might be because of the money we spend. If it was my car I still would use independent servicing rather than dealer but as I sad before that's just my opinion. I wouldn't criticise anyone for using a main dealer.

    To be honest I don't trust main dealers never have. I would go independent . Others may have a different view however.

    No Service books anymore I am afraid. You can buy one from the dealer.

    I think you are on the fixed service regime. 9K ish x 3 would be around 27k for next oil change.

    Common problem I am afraid. I am on Boost pressure sensor number 4. Of curse there is nothing wrong with the car according to Skoda. Along with the very long cranking before starting on occasions.

    Boost pressure sensor. It should have logged the fault. I would get it booked in.

    Sounds like boost pressure sensor failure to me. I have has too many to mention.
