  1. If the guy who is coming to pick it up (on Sun) bails on me I will let you all now. Sent from my Passport using Tapatalk
  2. I will miss it dearly but a 335d XDrive Touring is waiting for me... Sent from my Passport using Tapatalk
  3. SOLD. To the grumpy git who criticised my advert and has now suddenly deleted his post - it is sold to a non briskoda member. Sent from my Passport using Tapatalk
  4. I just want the next person to treat her the same way I did...
  5. Well picked up. MOT until 2016. Currently having a service today. Price reduced for a quick sale Sent from my Passport using Tapatalk
  6. I am selling my Octavia vRS (as we no longer require two cars). I thought I'd see if there is any interest for the car here as I'd rather sell it to a fellow briskoda member where I know it will be continued to be well looked after. I bought the car from Vindis Cambridge in September 2012. It was an ex demonstrator and was being run by one of the sales managers so is very high spec. It had Scotts Safeguard paint and interior protection applied. Registered in March 2012. Registration AF12 XES. I ran it on private plates until a few days ago. Additional options. Full leather with heated front seats Columbus Sat Nav Front and rear parking sensors Maxidot Xenon headlights with AFS Cruise control Multifunctional steering wheel Bluetooth iPod connectivity Carbon look trim Current mileage is 49685. It has a full main dealer service history (DSG oil change done at 40k miles). MOT until March 2016. Other than routine servicing and tyres it has not required any further work. Tyres: Fronts Vredstein Ultrac Sessanta (approx 6mm tread). Rears Hankook Ventus Evo (approx 2.5mm tread). My only modification is a Revo stage one map (Dec 2014). The car has been completely transformed since then. There is so much torque readily available! This was done at Quattro Tech in St Ives, Cambridgeshire. They have left the option to return to the original map FOC at any time (you wouldn't want to do that though!). It is fairly frugal given the performance on tap. I manage to get around 400 miles from a full tank. 30mpg in town and high 30s on a run. It has only been filled with Tesco Momentum or Shell V Power since I have owned it. I am based near Cambridge. PM me if you are interested. Price: £9500 reduced for quick sale
  7. A quick search on parkers suggest they should offer at least 10 for mine. I have e mailed them that quote to see if they get back. Sent from my Passport using Tapatalk
  8. Buggers only offered £9k for my Octavia vRS. They wouldn't budge on the sticker price on the 335d either! I suggested that as the LCI model is out they ought to drop it a little. No chance. Am going to stay silent for a few days to see if they come back to me. Sent from my Passport using Tapatalk
  9. I think I am agreeing. People rave about Audi interiors but I thought the Beemer wins hands down even on that front. Sent from my Passport using Tapatalk
  10. Hi Matt Yes it is an odd comparison. I was initially looking at a new shape estate Octavia vRS TSi but have been lured by the Germans. I test drove a 335d XDrive today and bloomin 'eck. I am sold! Just need to convince the Mrs now... Sent from my Passport using Tapatalk
  11. The F3x 335d is xDrive only I believe Sent from my Passport using Tapatalk
  12. Thanks for that excellent review. I have a test drive for a nearly new 335d lined up tomorrow. I didn't realise real world economy was that bad in the Audi. If believe the LCI 3 series will lose the 335d badge and will be called a 340d. Apart from LED tail lights and new DRLs at the front I can't see a mass of changes to the current shape. Do you know which brokers were offering those deals? Sent from my Passport using Tapatalk
  13. Which would you go for? Sent from my Passport using Tapatalk
  14. Great looking front splitter. Superskoda? Sent from my Passport using Tapatalk
  15. It would be stupid of them not to. I bought my current vRS from the local dealer as an ex demo and I use them for servicing. I appreciate dealers don't always reward loyalty though. Sent from my Passport using Tapatalk
  16. This option list is getting bigger and more expensive! Luckily I got some really good quotes from carwow. When the time comes I will use them to negotiate. Sent from my Passport using Tapatalk
  17. Revo. Apologies for the late reply. I live near Cambridge. Quattro Tech in St Ives near Huntingdon. Great service. I didn't get the DSG done. Am looking to swap for a new one within the next 6 months so sadly won't be adding to the stage one. Looks like you have had a great result from the Shark map. Sent from my Passport using Tapatalk
  18. Thanks guys. Now to test drive the Mk3. The only thing I didn't like when I sat in one was the accelerator pedal is not as nice as the Mk2. Also the handbrake was on the wrong side! Sent from my Passport using Tapatalk
  19. After much deliberation (and considering an E92 M3 or Golf R) I have decided to wait and spec a vRS 230 TSi DSG estate. I gather the 230 will come with the Black pack with the Extreme alloys. I also would like Columbus and possibly Canton/leather. What other options would you say are a must? Is the ACC worth it? Reversing camera? Sunroof? (Somebody will get their hands on an immaculate FL Mk2 TSi in Candy White with Revo stage 1....) Sent from my Passport using Tapatalk
  20. I like the look of it (apart from the smoked out headlights). The extreme alloys plus black pack alone is >£1000. I was tempted by a Golf R or a E92 M3 but the vRS 230 is a contender for me. Sent from my Passport using Tapatalk
  21. I think the Mk3 hatchback has really grown on me, although I prefer the estate. Definitely looks better on the 19" extreme alloys though. Sent from my Passport using Tapatalk
