It even easier on the front as you don't need a rewind tool. Just take off the calipers and squeeze the pistons back in like normal. If you've worked on a mini with front discs the same rules apply. Good luck. 1 1/2 - 2 hrs easy.

Problem playing music via bluetooth
Jalalabad replied to VRS Doug VX's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk II (2007-2014)
I only know that Samsung phones are a bit awkward. With father in laws 1 i had to go into settings and allow bluetooth signal from car. If you google samsung phones skoda bluetooth it should come up thats how i found the fix. Hope this helps. -

Anything liquid like that should do. Panel wipe might evaporate a bit too fast. Its just to stop the paint from getting too hot and blistering. If you're careful and move around enough you should be fine. Great work so far by the way. Can't believe how much you've done so fast. -

Be careful you don't spend too much time in one spot as you can scorch the paint very easily. Also might be good to use a spray of water with the polish to keep the heat down and reduce friction slightly. Well done with all the mods the car looks ace. -

Am I the only one not to like the vRS?
Jalalabad replied to stokey's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk II (2007-2014)
Uh, if you've never driven an auto before there are certain knacks to it completely different from a manual. The dsg is super fast to change but it isnt psychic, if you've just hit the brake and straight on the power it has to have a slight delay or you'd have no clutch left after a few hundred miles. -

It may have happened on the test drive cos you were not used to the dsg box. I've had mine for 2 1/2 months and love the dsg and once you're used to it the rewards are many. Try it on a longer test drive before you judge it too harshly. -
I hope they do a seven seat yeti or big foot so the wife can get in on the skoda bug. I like the fact they still have the potential to surprise people with the quality and value for money. I'm just afraid vw are realising people are turning away from the vw range and over to skoda so they might start taking away the skoda edge of individuality and value to keep their numbers up. Don't get me wrong i'm all for skoda going from strength to strength but not at the (pardon the pun) expense of upping their costs.

Not sure about it. Looks very sterile and clinical to me. The new concept design looks like a cross between an octavia and an old shape mondeo hatch. I hope they're not trying to be 'upmarket' or 'main stream'.

Some people have no respect for other peoples cars thats why i avoid car parks like the plague. Anyway, on the subject of Skoda's in the family, my father-in-law has had skoda's for 20 odd years, my brother-in-law has a mk1 octy vrs, my sister-in-law a fabia saloon, my sister a mk 1 fabia vrs and i've had the old and new fabia vrs....how's that for loyalty?

I can't seem to get onto their parts page can anyone forward on the link please. Purely for research purposes. Everytime I log in to their page it just sends me to the car page. Cheers
