  1. Does anyone or has anyone considered using veg oil and additives to fuel their diesel? I have a 2.5 V6 Superb and I'm thinking about researching this. I tried a couple of litres of filtered oil in a Vectra 2.2 once along with a full tank of diesel and it didn't seemed to suffer, although for that amount I don't imagine it would.
  2. My umbrella was missing so I bought a cheapo £2.99 telescopic one, its been in their a year and still doesn't know what rain is!
  3. I have now finished my repairs after water damage to the electrics, luckily mine didn't seem to be as bad as some others I've read about on here. I've also attended to the pollen filter housing seal using clear silicone and checked the drain holes under the battery tray. I noticed that some work had already been done on the electrics under the carpets and someone had been under the battery tray, but the pollen filter seal hadn't been touched. The seal was cracked and split, I also found a receipt from 2005 in my docs for a repair to an "electrical fault" that was done under warranty for the previous owner. I'd like to thank all the members on here who have gone through this before, they have made it so much easier and also thanks to all who gave me advice. I used a product called QUIK TAPE to bind my loom, its by a company called KALIMEX and I strongly recomend it. It's a self bonding adhesive free silicone rubber tape that forms an air and water tight seal I used three rolls at £5.75 a roll.
  4. FIXED IT!! But now when I adjust my driver door mirror the left moves as well, the left adjusts by itself ok.
  5. Hi all, I'm in the process of fixing my electrics after water ingress. My problem is that the front interior lights have stayed on after the repair although i'm sure I connected everything back the way it was. I have a VAG dealer repair manual on my PC but it doesn't appear to have wiring diagram. Does anyone know which colour wires I need to check? Thanks.
