Ado just been looking into this as well - are you getting it from winners? if so they use a company from cheltenham to fit I called them direct and they use an aftermarket wiring loom westphalia offered it fitted for 600 spoke with an outfit from gloucester for the same kit it was 430 fitted - |I have seen the same kit on offer for about 300 parts only

gets even more confusing when you read the sales brochure there it states towing braked max for the 2.0 tdi cr 170 bhp as 1600kg the 1400 refers to the140bhp 2.0 tdi pd any one have definitive for the various models?

I had my freelander done yesterday at dare i say it kwikfit all be it one of the local chains that have been taken over recently. they offer a reduction of 10 degrees or no charge might be worth while doing a drive up and just getting it plugged in. only took an hour and the cost was 49.99 the drop in temp was from 30degrees down to 6.5 degrees - the aircon has never been recharged since new and was making gurgling noises.

did you not consider changing them yourself? I got caught like this on the front discs of my freelander, second time did them myself in under 1 hour for both sides saves a fortune and discs should be available fro somewhere like GMF in Coleford

Like You I went on the 10 to 12 weeks - and explained to the dealer that I was getting hassle from my management to replace my existing car but that the 10 to 12 was acceptable, if the notification went out 2 weeks ago then that would explain why the salespeople were not calling me back to deliver the bad news !!! delays if told up front i can deal with then set expectations with other people, kept in the dark ****es me off. time for a little chat tomorrow

Just Spoken with my dealer and have been informed that a message has been posted on the system informing them that all scouts have been delayed by 4 weeks - mine has slipped from week 17 to week 21 ordered 1st week of March, and this has taken a bit of chasing to find out, I am now seriously looking at canceling and getting something different. I have never had to wait 14 weeks plus delivery for a new build mass produced car - its not as if I have added any bloody options either just black paint and a spare wheel

Placed an order for a scout on the 6th of March - just been informed that it has a build week of 21 - 24th May but may be pulled forward
