Fixed!!! well wasnt broken lol.. noticed my sidelights were on switched them off and hey presto its working. never came across that before. i did wonder why when i turned the ignition off earlier when i was out it didnt open the doors. every days a school day

just popped out to the car and no central locking working with the key so tried the other key and the same? changed batteries no joy. i can operate it manually with the lock and its fine just nothing with the key at all? help?

i am a mechanic. had a replacement turbo already dont know if its a vxr item..warranty is a good thing!

I know what your saying mat i have 2 kids one 2 and one 12 so they wont be in the back EVER infact i dont think anyone will ever be in the back .purely space is whats the rear will be used for..and plan to have no more sprogs either lol.

yeah i went to look at a silver one 10 mines from the yellow one what a dog. bulges in tyres exhaust hanging down scratches and dents 1 mud flap, seats bogging..and this was on a garage forecourt so when the chap asked if i wanted the keys i quickly declined and jumped back in the vec lol.. yellow one was just what i wanted in terms of condition albeit i paid a bit more but only 58k with fsh including belts done

I have to disagree mate i now have the wee ones feet in my back. she was alot further back when i had the vectra. so now shes on the other side lol.

Glad you got it in time mate..you do though no matter what warranty given ie 1month the trader is fully responsible for the car upto 6 months on. to many people get stung and just except it..i wouldnt thats for sure. btw what did you have before this?

I do find the VRS a bit small with one car seat and a 12 year old is enough room for them without being cramped and space for their toys etc.. another seat would definately be a no no.. I had a 54 plate vectra before my vrs and the wmount of room was awsome over the vrs kinda regreted it after changing but make do. here my vectra bought it standard LS spec added sri/gsi stuff vxr spoiler 345mm brakes and irmscher 20'' evo stars tinted windows etc..loved the car but wanted more power should have just bought a 2.2 or a cdti 150. i sold it to a garage for 3300 just to get the yellow vrs i have now. mistake if i am honest but i like my vrs vectras come in many options. 1.8. 18vvti 2ltr turbo 1.9cdti 8v 1.9 cdti 16v 150 bhp 3.0 v6 cdti 2.8 turbo vxr

Their are some decent ones on pistonheads, keep your options open and go look even if it means travelling ..it might be for the right car!!

i agree.. just fitted a eoneon or what ever its called usb/mp3/dvd/tv lots of toys can connect reversing cam etc. dead easy to fit and looks good to
