  1. Thanks. Looks like it might be a filler job. £500 of damage :-(
  2. Do you have a link? Can't find them anywhere. Cheers.
  3. Does anyone know where I can find a wheel arch trim for a fabia Monte Carlo. My wife has scratched as and I need a replacement. It's the rear right driver-side. Not sure where to look. Thanks
  4. THanks.. will mention it when I get the headlight washer fixed.
  5. It's a Combi... Interesting. It's been very wet, so maybe that has had some effect. Either way I think I'll take it in at some point.
  6. Does anyone else have creaking from the front end when on full lock. It is like a creaking scraping. I happens as the car is moving forwards or backwards. I noticed it parking yesterday. Part of me thinks it could be the tyres as it sounds similar to the sound of driving inside a tyre centre when the floor is painted (not sure if anyone understands what I am saying!!) It's a vrs Octavia 3 by the way.
  7. Don't forget that anyone can call Skoda Assistance and they will happily change your wheel for the spare. The last chap I spoke to insisted that my wife or I don't try to change the wheel at the roadside.. always call them as it is a dangerous place to be.
  8. Works really well - especially bluetooth music streaming. I download playlists to spotify on my iphone. I play them and when the car turns off it pauses the music on the phone... when I get back in the car the system automatically reconnects and starts playing where it left off. Brilliant and simple. My old columbis did the same, but didn't auto start so you had to wait for it to connect and then fiddle about with the phone to get it playing. I really don't think you need the cable. I certainly don't as it does everything I need it to.
  9. I have the space saver in my VRS. Wouldn't bother with the jack. Skoda Assist will change the wheel for you anyway unless you are in a rush of course.
  10. It's great that it doesn't bother you I think. As long as it works when it is needed then that's great.
  11. I have been driving my VRS with front assist for almost a week and I've not heard a peep from it. I have had a small icon come up saying I am driving too close to the car in front, but I have never had any warnings. I've got pretty close to some cars and I would assume it would have warned me. Don't get me wrong I am actually pretty happy about the fact that it has not got stressed so far even with the tight and steep gradiant roads I drive on. Has anyone else with Front assist had any warnings?
  12. Is the noise from the wind? Or some other type of noise? You could open the other rear window a smidgin to relieve some of the vehicle pressure.
