  1. I have a simillar issue with my 2010 1.2 Yeti, rattling behind the glove compartment, under the bonnet, and the rattling occurs only on cold days, 5-6C or below. It turned out the metal pipes from the fuel lines passing right where I described are making the rattle, check if it's the same with yours.
  2. From the Owner's manual: “DAY LIGHT” Switching on daylight driving lights – Switch on the ignition without turning the light switch out of the position 0 or AUTO. Deactivating the function daylight driving lights – Pull the turn signal light lever towards the steering wheel up to 3 seconds after switching on the ignition and at the same time, slide it to the bottom and hold it in this position for at least 3 seconds. Activating the function daylight driving lights – Pull the turn signal light lever towards the steering wheel up to 3 seconds after switching on the ignition and at the same time, slide it to the top and hold it in this position for at least 3 seconds. On vehicles fitted with an information display, you can also activate or deactivate in the menu the function daylight driving lights: - Settings - Lights & Vision On vehicles with separate lights for daylight driving lights in the fog lights or in the front bumper, the parking lights and the licence plate light do not come on when activating the function daylight driving lights (neither front nor rear). If the vehicle is not equipped with separate lights for daylight driving lights, the combination of the low beam, the parking lights (front and rear) including the licence plate light is used as daylight driving lights. In some countries, the national legal provisions require that the rear parking lights also come on together with the separate lights for daylight driving lights when activating the function daylight driving lights. When the daylight driving lights are switched on, the illumination of the instrument cluster is switched off, however, it is switched on in the position AUTO when it is dark and the low beam shines with full brightness (100 % of the performance).

  6. Noticed the same effect with mine...
  7. My Yeti lost power, so took it to the garage, they found 2 foulty spark plugs and one ignition lead. They've changed all 4 plugs and one lead, and gave me the bill. After investigating this forum, I've found out that this was covered by good will, eventhough my car was out of warranty. I told this to my dealer, and they've changed the other 3 leads as well, and charged me nothing at all.
  8. Did the warranty cover this, or how much did you pay for the ignition lead and labor? Did you change the spark plug(s) as well?
  9. I am looking for this cover of the left boot side-panel on a LHD Octavia. Since it is not possible to order just the cover as an accessorie part, nor as a replacement part, any idea where can I get one? Through the dealer I can order the whole side panel with the cover, not just the cover. Thnx
  10. Few days ago the EPC flashed, my Yeti lost power, after turning it off and on again, everything was fine. To be on the safe side, I went to the dealer to have it checked. They have put a 2mm washer on the valve, and changed the ECU with a brand new one. They told me that they were not able to update the software of the present ECU.
  11. You are saying that eventhough my Yeti does not have a maxidot, but is equipped with a rain sensor, I am able to enable the coming/leaving home lights?!
  12. Is the AC compressor the same for the manual and the dual-zone air-conditioning?

    bolero

I've had the exact problem with my Bolero, only happened once...
  16. My Yeti has 13000km on the clock, not a single problem with the engine. But I somehow managed to burn the cluth 2 times on a steep road (30m climb)with 3 adults in the car, the first time reversing, the second time in 1st gear. I climb the same steep road with my VW Golf 1.9 TDI (2000)with such an ease that it is very strange the Yeti was struggling halfway already. Check this thread as well http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/200209-poorly-yeti/
  17. I love my Yeti ( with a spare wheel), but the boot is not even near the Octavia's... So I would go for the Octavia, though the Yeti is much more fun and pleasure to drive ...

  22. Skoda Yeti Maxi Date of publication: 2010-06-09 10:08:25 According to German media reports, Skoda Auto is reportedly considering a move to launch a stretched version of the Yeti SUV. Compact SUV models current make up one of the most popular market segments in Europe. By Rafal Zaglewski According to German media reports, Skoda Auto is reportedly considering a move to launch a stretched version of the Yeti SUV. The newcomer may debut in 2012 when the Czech carmaker is due to rework the entire range. Compared with the regular Yeti, which is 4,223mm long, the additional model could be some 30cm longer. If Skoda gives the scheme the green light, it could follow in the footsteps of Nissan, which first launched the popular Nissan SUV, followed by the stretched version, called the Qashqai +2. http://www.samar.pl/__/__la/en/__ac/sec,4/new/58163/__Skoda-Yeti-Maxi.html
