I'm picking up a new Octavia vRS in two weeks and would like to know if it is possible to enable both rear fog lights? Also is there anyone in the Aylesbury area that can do such programming? Thank you for your help. Happy New Year ! Simon

I own a new Octavia vRS, collected June this year. I asked the dealer, Palmers Skoda Watford, if they could activate the second rear fog. They tried but couldn't make it work. They called Skoda technical who told them it is not possible for vehicles after a 58 plate. I would really like to have the second fog activated so if anyone knows how it can be done and the proceedure could they post it here please. BTW - Very, very pleased with my vRS and the service and support from Palmers was excellent. Regards Simon

Has anyone found LED lamps that can be fitted into the numberplate light holders that do NOT bring up a warning on the Canbus system? I am looking to get some for my new vRS. Thanks Simon

Yes it is a brand new 2010 car, I thought the etching came as standard. I didn't get chance to call Retainagroup today but will in the morning. Do you think it should have come with the windows etched? Thanks Simon

I have recently taken delivery of a Diesel Octavia vRS, very pleased with it. When looking at buying I am sure the cars had their windows etched by http://www.retainagroup.com/ and were on the International Vehicle Register. My new car has not got the windows etched which seems odd as today I had a letter from Retainagroup asking me to complete my details with them. Has anyone else had the same issue? I'm going to call Retainagroup in the morning and then Skoda. Thanks Simon

Thank you for everyones reply to my question. Having spoken to the dealer they tell me there workshoop can activate it when I next drop in. Can anyone tell me if on the rear of the 2010 vRS there should be one or two fog light lamps lit up? I only seem to have one and can see another on the other side but not lit up. On some cars you only get one due to the reversing light but mine has two of those. Thanks Simon

Thank you Banksie for those links.................. I'm sure before someone had posted pictures of the mud flaps along with where to make the holes. The pictures had orange tape on the flaps, anyone got a link please. Thanks Simon

Some time ago I came across a guide, with photos, on how to fit mud flaps to the rear of the new vRS FL. Would someone be able to post a link to it here please? Also do the standard mud flaps fit the front? Thanks
