  1. Its ok I've worked that out - its the alarm siren. S.
  2. One more request please. In the photo, what is the part I've circled in orange? Is that the noise thingy?
  3. Many thanks guys and I now can see what I'm going to look for. I will go/see. I hear the VRS only comments but I'm suspicious as mine is a SE "technology" package and they were in the last 12mths pre end-of mk III line. It also sounds (inside the car) like a flat noted boxer engine and I just don't think that's right. Its all engine noise rather than tyres/road which is what historically Skoda's have. on a related note - anyone in Aberdeenshire got a VCDS set up????? Cheers for now, S.
  4. So any VRS owners out there that can tell me the physical location of the sound generator thingy. What actual clues are there that one is fitted??? Cheers, S.
  5. Is it just the sportier models that have the fake noise makers (structure borne sound etc)? Or would a lowly SE Technology estate model be so fitted? If its possible does anyone know physically can I check the device out (where is it located). And is it only through VCDS etc that I can control it? Why would I want to leave the system active being a middle aged normal sort of bloke who likes driving a quiet car???? Cheers, S.
