I have the Skoda factory fitted towbar which switches side assist off when hitched. Been working since last tow then just started coming up function not available.

I'm unable to activate side assistance and keep getting message that it's not available. I suspect it's going to be a dealer visit to reset but anyone had this problem and have a fix for it please ?

Thanks Kenny R hadn't considered it was my iPhone running iOS 13.1 that is causing the issue. Will unpairing and then pairing again solve it ?

I've started getting the enter user pin screen on my Columbus satnav in my 2018 Superb L&K It's never come up before and when I ignore it by touching the back symbol everything including updates seems to work without the pin being entered. Tbh I'm not sure it's satnav related and certainly don't have a user pin. I'm thinking it may be a code the garage puts in when resetting service info maybe Anyone got an idea what it is ?

When we left home at start of holiday I had over 3000 ad blu miles left. We towed around 800 miles plus around 150 solo. I just quoted the final trip home as an example really.

Just been away on holiday and while towing our caravan noticed that the ad blu usage seems to double. Towed 111 miles home yesterday and achieved best mpg ever at 32.1 but used 250 “ad blu miles “ I'm assuming this is normal but any other caravanners like to comment ?

Anyone know what size Torq screwdriver is needed to adjust front washers please? Are the rear washers on the wiper arm a similar process.

My new. Car is now showing it’s time to top up the Ad blu. Is there any difference in quality between brands or shall I just buy cheapest I can find? Do I have to fully top up or can I just add a gallon ? Probably stupid questions so I apologise in advance.

The factory fitted one is fine for clearance with an Alko hitch. For the £720 you also get an updated alternator and I think an upgraded radiator. I’m absolutely delighted with mine.

It still shows the next manoeuvre at the top of the list though. I find the service area info useful for planning stops.

Golf has the Columbus system too. So can use vw site to convert the files and use the Skoda maintaininfo file with them on the sd card.

Any recommendations for a good insect remover for bodywork and windscreen please? Dont know if it’s because my new Superb is white but I seem to collect every time of bug known to mankind.
