Had a recon turbo fitted then that went so had another one fitted and turbo place said it liike fo Rom the damage to the last turbo that it was overboosting Did have a leaky intercooler now fixed but car is black smoking alot and eml comes on intermitently if i turn it off it could go a day or to to come back on or just half an hour Smoke lookes rediculos at night with headlights behind you...driving it with delecasy as i dernt take it above 2.5k any thoughts???

Cant see any only had a quick look tho any oil level has dropped to :/

Coming up the slip roads on the m1 and no pop or bang just poof n tones of grey smoke out the exhaust and thoughts?

So the sensor it is and just check the wireing whilt im changing it

Would this be intermittant tho because its done it once in 3 weeks?

Its the 1st time its done it and the maf sensor is in the top of the intercooler right?

Cant be gunked up its a recon turbo only 3 week old so maf sensor?

Comomg back from skegvegas today after overtaking a lorry then driving roughly another 15 mins....then noticed there was no boost car would still go but pick up realy slowly in every gear ...so while still moving dipped the clutch ignition off then back on and away it went back to pulling strong..any ideas?

so i have a vrs se and on boost it makes a ...sound sort of howling wind.. the sound comes in as the turbo does and the car feels..i wouldnt say slugish but only a little down on power and then about 3-3500revs the sound stops and the car picks up but dont kow whats causing it and not looked at it yet so just looking for a heads up of things to check maybe cracked intercooler? its had new intercooler pipe seals

ill have alook at the egr at the weekend while am doing the front discs n pads and trev is it the joint that sticks out the bottom of the **** tray as i call it lol if so it does have some black seepage

cars making a wooshing soud everytime the turbo comes in but defo not the turbo 100% intercooler pipe or intercooler?? help please

just had the console bushes done 500 mile ago i was thinking droplinks then arb bushes to i will change them i see if tht works lol

as title states at low speed going over speedbumps ect especialy when in lock any idea guys cheers

i would use sikaflex to its good and strong stuff we use it at work to bond bus windows in so its got to be strong

a week tomorrow hope theres a few there sure a skoda can take home the best non for trophy :p

lol yes have been keeping up and sifting through all the not reali helpfull thinngs lol dint doubt them in the first place always heard good things just a couple tht av have little things happen tht can be fixed i.e pipes poppin off and fix with a few cable ties but all in all cant waint to get it done :p:P

kl i think i mite do this just a precation lol give me something to tinker with lol did you have to take the bumper off? as av got some bulbs to fit n as all german cars it will b easier to take the headlight unit out lol so might as well do them at the same time
