Hi, I am selling my beloved vRS. It is Race Blue, on a 57 plate and has done 42000 miles. It has had a full service history and is on the long 2 year service interval. Its had recent Continental front tyres, on 18" zenith alloys, other extras include the jumbo centre consol with mp3 socket and a CD multi-changer. It also has its MOT up to date until September. If you are a steady driver its possible to get a combined 50 mpg as you probably know - and still have a bit of fun. I am in Devon, and regularly visit the Bristol/Bath area should you wish to view the car. It is immaculate, wheels perfect, paint work exceptional for the age and the interior spotless. In fact i have been a bit too anal about such things and with a young family i have to concede I need a car they can trash without me worrying about it... Hi there, i am relatively new to the forum and VRS ownership. I have a question regarding a diesal vrs Octavia 07 plate, bought this spring. Since ownership when driven with a bit of spirit there can be a momentary break in power like a misfire, and occasionally a complete loss of power for a couple of seconds, like when joining a motorway. There has been no fault found by Skoda, only that an 'intermittent fault' exists, and warranty ends in two weeks. My concern is that the previous owner has knackered the particle filter by poking around town for a couple of years. Any suggestions for an explanation or cure - has anyone else found similar? Thank you

Hi - i am a new Octavia Vrs owner. Mine does not have a grill badge - a minor point i know, but i wondered if they could be found - my local dealer and TPS say they are not an issued Skoda part - does anyone know? cheers Jim
