  1. Hmm, my new vrs delivered last Monday doesn’t have a cover. Only reason I know is I opened the bonnet to check the oil level. No mention of it by the dealer at handover so a bit surprised when I saw the engine exposed.
  2. Hi Kelvin I'm so glad you bought the WRC and saved it from going back to CZ. I hope you enjoy the car as much as I did. All the best Des
  3. Motorline Skoda Medway picked up the WRC today and gave it a nice shiny new MOT and delivered it back to my house, what a service!
  4. Looks like I have had an offer on the WRC from CZ. I would like the car to stay over here so if anyone is interested please can you let me know.
  5. Skoda Octavia WRC Limited Edition No 73 of 100 for sale After buying my first ever Skoda a 2002 VRS, to my disappointment they launched the WRC LE shortly after. I loved driving round in my shiny new Black VRS but once I saw a fully stickered WRC I was smitten. My VRS was heavily financed so no chance of swapping to a new WRC especially with that 21K price tag at the time. So when one came up for sale in 2015 I jumped at the chance of a new project. I wanted one that was a bit of a wreck as I had big plans to fully restore it to its former glory. Once most of the work was complete (as anyone with a project car knows it’s never ending) I took great pride in driving and showing the car, even taking best in show at the Maidstone bridge 80’s/90’s revival meets, quite proud of that. Unfortunately it is with a heavy heart the time has come for me to part with the WRC. I’ve had my fun, I’ve achieved what I set out to achieve and I feel privileged to have finally owned and driven a WRC especially one in this condition. Therefore No 73/100 will is now up for sale so if anyone is interested please feel free to message me and we can discuss it further. I have quite a bit of history and paperwork that goes with the car not to mention a garage full of spares including wheels, engine etc. Details of the car are as follows. · Car is SORN at the moment sitting in my garage since I started the restore but will come with a fresh MOT once sold. · Current Mileage – 113600 · The car has been stripped and resprayed white and green on bumpers/door handles. · It has been re-stickered (not a reproduction) with and original kit from 2001 one of only 3 sets left in the world at the time. Peter Drury has one set and I have a spare set which comes with the car. · There are over £10,000 worth of new and refurbished parts on the car, all genuine Skoda parts – Turbo, Brakes, exhaust manifold, carpets, complete suspension the list goes on for ever. · There are some upgrades on the car i.e. Pioneer DAB head unit, quality component speakers and sub with amp. All easily swopped for OEM kit if required. · Polly bushed all round. · Private plate – V100 WRC. · Comes with 2 folders, 1st with provenance/receipts, letter from Skoda confirming authenticity (1 of only 2 in the world), original VRS brochure etc, 2nd with build pictures from start to finish with lots more on disc. · All-important plaque 73/100 on dash. · Front heated seats, cruise control, seat/side air bags etc, usual WRC extras and everything works. · I also have a garage full of original spares including and engine, wheels etc. included in the sale. · Full quick rack, cast arms and hub assembly (not fitted). Price - £9500 ono I’ve probably missed out lots of other items so please feel free to PM with any questions you may have. Now is your chance to buy yourself a piece of Skoda History. PS Should you buy this car you may also need a paper bag to go over your head as the car draws a lot of attention. J
  6. Have you still got the headlights and are they Xenons. If they are in good con can I have first dibs please.
  7. Hi bud, have you still got the steering wheel and is it worn or damaged at all. If not can I have first dibs please.
  8. Are you going to put the stickers on!!!
  9. Defo the best bit on the car! lol
  10. Anybody would think you won the Lottery Pete! :p
  11. My 2 pence worth I've had 2 test drives of the RS3 now just for research purposes you understand and I have to admit, I like this car! If it wasn't for the Skoda Rapid with a body looks and that silly price tag I would place an order with Audi today. There are a few options which the car benefits from quite a bit 1) WBO Dynamic Pack - £1495.00. 2) C4L 19" x 8.5"J front wheels - £795.00, this seems to help with under-steer quite a bit and also helps with feel. PS " It's not a hillclimb car" pmsl!
  12. The car is now sold........just had my hand bitten off!
  13. I may be able to do someone a big favour as the car is going back to the dealers for £9900. So if anyone can come up with the readies before then they can have it for the same price. I would rather someone on here have it than a dealer make money on it. £9900 is silly money for this car.
  14. May have to put this sale off untill the new year by the looks of things. lol
  15. No interest as yet. Do you think it is the wrong time of year to sell or is the price to high. Probably dangerous but let me know what you think, be gentle as I bruise easy.
